Bought pre-sale tickets for Skrillex but by time we got to Vegas from LA and got to the club it was 1am. The line was over an hour long and with 3 dudes our chances were looking slim. I bought the tickets for my buddy's birthday who loves skrillex and took him out to Vegas but it was starting to look like a crappy birthday present. After talking to a nice security lady she called the host over to us. My cousin being the local did the talking and explained we were there for my friends birthday and with a sly tip we were in the door within 10 minutes. Just wanted to thank surrender staff for saving my ass and making a memorable birthday for my friend. You guys are awesome, we had a blast!

By the way I'm new to the forums and should probably introduce myself. My name is Eze and I'm 25 from LA but have a cousin who lives in Vegas. So I'm in Vegas about once a month or every other. Even tho my cousin lives there I usually still stay at the hotels/casinos. Absolutely love Vegas and have a great time every time!

Well when we first got there, I asked where willcall was and they pointed us to the back of general admission line. Then we asked again and we were told it was too late.

Anyways, the host we tipped that let us in wanted us to pay the cover of 75 each even tho I had already bought them presale for 50each. He just opened the rope for us so we were solo when we got to the cashier. I showed her the printout and there was no charge, got our hand stamped, and rocked out to some skrillex lol.

Now just have to figure out how to see Steve Angello at XS or Kaskade at Marquee on New Years Eve. That might not be an easy task to get in :/

That's the risk you run w/ presales. The later you arrive, the longer the wait. MDW XS line started forming at 9:00 lol.

This site is about hook-up's. Some where along the lines we lost our focus. Dont buy tickets to a club, its not a concert. Either buy a table or find someone at that venue that can get you in for free. A club isnt a concert hall, there is no end all you must have ticket policy, shake the right hands, know the right people and you will be fine.

but if you buy a ticket then you never will. lets say. your presale ticket is 50 each and you have 2 people. Take that 100, contact a host, find out what he says. if your paying cover and skipping the line, throw him the 100, if your paying cover, but jumping the line, throw him 50. Even tho you paid more by using a host, you now have an active relationship with that host. Wanttickets doesnt care about you, wont wish you happy thanksgiving or let you know when you favorite DJ is spinning. Use a host or manager, build a relationship and in the end you will benefit

Ya Without a doubt will be doing that next time. Those presage tickets were pretty much useless. I was stuck in the back of the line with $150 worth of tickets which would have ended up in the garbage if it wasn't for the host getting us in. If we would have waited out the line we would have missed skrillex and those 150 would have been useless. We gave the host 100 and the security lady 20 for calling him over. So I spent over 270 which isn't too bad for 3 guys to get in at 1am. If I were to give the host 200-250 you guys think the cover would be charged? Also would that amount be sufficient for about 3guys 2girls for new years at XS or marquee?

not sure if this is true but over the weekend I heard Kaskade is gonna spin from 12am to noon New Years Day...lol I hope he likes Red Bull
