  • Bachelor Party HELP!!!

    hello

I just recently found this forum/site and this seems like a great place to ask all the question i have.

So I am having my Bachelor party in November 1-3, and i did not want my best man to have the burden to plan the whole thing by himself. Getting to the point... We have planned where we will be staying, and what we will be doing. but we are first timers with bottle services in Vegas. we are planning on going to Xs on Friday (no Bottle Service) and Marquee Saturday (Bottle Service). We are a group of 10-15 dudes (ages 25 and up). I was wondering what are the chance of us getting bottle service at Marquee on a Saturday for 10-15 dudes (budget for the bottle service 3k) and should we go directly to their website to book the table or find a planning agency that does the planning for bachelor parties?

Don't go with a "planning service". They take too much of the pie and you'd get more bang for your buck dealing directly with a specific venue host.

For 10 guys, you would need to minimum 3 bottles and 1 pre-sale ticket. Most on the forum would urge a gainst that because typically you only get 3 spots to sit for 1 bottle. So I'm sure most would recommend 4+ bottles. For 15, you'd need 5+ bottles.

A bottle runs about $595 + tax (9%) + Auto-gratuity (18-20%), which would be 3800 for 5 bottles and 3050 for 4 bottles ($761.60 per bottle), then you'll need to tip your host (most recommend $50-$100 per bottle) and tip your security ($50-$100) and runner ($20-40). However, depending on the DJ table location is contingent on your min, so you'll need to work that out with a host directly, which could be higher than what I listed.

At Marquee I think 3k (if you are including taxes and tips) isn't possible for 15 and 10 people would be pushing it.

If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

    Planning
    2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
    2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

Thank you for the Input that really helped me think about this bottle service in a different light, i already knew it would be harder to get bottle service for a group of guys but wasn't expecting the cost to be that high.

I was wondering if it would be as hard to get bottle service if the ratio of guys and girls was 12:8 ??? the group would go from 10-15 dude to 12 guys and 8 girls. would that make things a little easier for the bottle service? I'm sure price would go up since we are a bigger group as well so the expecting budget would increase to prob 5k.

Also getting bottle service at Xs or Tryst differ from marquee in accommodating the group of guys only ?

(THE EVENT IS RIGHT AFTER HALLOWEEN NOT SURE IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE)

It wouldn't really change much because the bottle price wouldn't change. While your minimum could go down with more ladies, do you really want to limit your drinks that much? I haven't heard of Marquee giving any b2g1 or b3g1 deals on a Saturday night.

If budget is more of a concern than venue, what about checking out Tryst (cheaper bottles - where Goose is only $375 instead of $595 at Marquee and other of the Tier 1 clubs) or 1Oak (Specifically Joey Orr, whose been known to get deals like b2g1 and b3g1).The direct hosts will be your best bet on pricing, but I'd probably wait til October to get more formal pricing. XS will be equally, if not more expensive than Marquee.

Yeah, I am in a similar boat for my B.P. all the way in March. Got 8-12 guys and the budget will be tighter than I'd want since 1/2 of the guys and especially their wives will look at a $800 dollar weekend (which isn't a lot by Vegas standards) to be wayy to much, even if it's on the low end

A good rule of thumb is $250 per person for bottle service, unless you find a bottle deal. There are sweet spots if you have 10-11 people or 13-14 people. You can get bottle service for "9" or "12" and then have the extra 1 or 2 get pre-sale tickets. You won't have quite enough room to sit for everyone to sit all at once and will have less liquor to go around, but you'll save some money. I've done this before with 4 and 5 on a 1 bottle min. If you pre-game the less alcohol won't be as much of a factor.

Let me throw this wrench into the mix.

If women will be involved in your group could you have them set up the table/bottle service and the guys presale the tickets and stagger in as small groups of 2 or 3? Or just add 4 guys with the 8 girls to go 2:1 girl to guy ratio? May be able to get a better deal since the clubs love the ladies and the guys can roll/stroll on in when they enter? The min may be less, you can always add on to the bill during the night, but if pre gaming and drinks at dinner flow also, you probably won't need as much alcohol later that night since the assumption here is you want to enjoy/quasi remember the evening.

          Just a thought.

Your problem will be with a table at Marquee, you won't get a good one for a group that size. Keep in mind that the outside are of Marquee may be closed, and their main room is really small. There's really only a couple good tables in there with unobstructed views, first two tiers, with mins usually 5k+, and it will be highly congested. BS on a budget of 3k would work out better at XS or Light prob as the main rooms there are much, much bigger with more tables/options vs Marquee. Maybe even Hakk would have some options 3k that would be in the main lower level. Next option would go to a less trendy big club and hit a T2, get prime real estate for 3k and dominate the club.
