Any news on the dates? I want to attend for the first time and was looking at hotels now. How much of a jump will the prices be after the dates are announced and besides the Fri-Sun do the other days get effected by price?

Not wanting to spend more then $150-200 a night on a strip hotel. Should I book now or can I wait a bit?

    Thanks

I notice that the 19-22 weekend is more expensive but there also is a fairly large convention that weekend, International Esthetics Cosmetic and Spa Conference

Absolutely. I have monte carlo/aria booked through Mlife and will figure it out later. Wanted to lock in my prices now especially since I'm flying down for 6 nights.

Based on the rate calendars on my Total Rewards Card. I'm gonna guess EDC will be on the weekend of 6/12-6/14 or 6/19-6/21

But yeah with EDC, book everything as early as possible (flights, rooms, etc.)
                          Next trip: ???

That and I think the locals would be up in arms, more than they already are, about all the traffic. 2 weekends? Nah don't see it happening.

                                lets see what tomorrow brings

                                why two weekends
                                1. vegas loves vistors- the hotels, clubs, pools would all love two weekends
                                2. the staging/ production cost for a second weekend is very low. All the stages are already built they just keep them up a few days longer.
