    I have to agree with you there... I try and drink a few more weeks to Vegas that way when I'm there I can handle the morning drink as well as the drink before bed... and everything in between!!!

      Oh I fully agree...I go to the gym to work out and be toned, but I am no gym rat, it's more for health, as does DH.

      It's just after the wedding, honeymoon, school, I just was so tired from everything, its quite exhausting. Add in the whole new cast of characters that I'm now family with and it's been somewhat busy and stressful. I just need to get on a schedule again and go even when I don't feel like it.

      I am a firm believer in not letting yourself go just b/c you are comfortable and you should want to do it for yourself anyway.

      Get your friend out there, it's good to work out, looks aside, for your health!

        Sometimes you gotta look at it the other way too.. the newly single female all of a sudden has some super motivation to work out because shes on the market

              Sorry for the lack of reply mate, I don't know if you guys have it in the US, but here I use the Maximuscle stuff. A good rule of thumb is about 10mg of creatine per day and 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight (which can be a lot! = maybe 3 shakes and some extra chicken per day)

              Interval / sprint training is also a winner if you're looking to get a bit of a ripped body. Anything on the treadmill like 1 minute sprint / 2 minute jog, or 45 second sprint / 15 second jog is a good one. It saves you having to spend hours on a boring treadmill as well, and if you look at the body of a sprinter or a marathon runner, I know which one i'd rather have.

              But anyway, what do I know? I just wanna look good naked

                Maximuscle.. I havent heard of that one in the states. But I definitely do have the 3 shakes on a workout day covered. I don't drink the shakes on days when I m resting the muscles. I heard it would just turn into fat. One thing I havent tried is creatine. A lot of people I know take it and it gives you more of a vascular pumped look. I asked the Dr. about it and she said there would be side effects of "sagging skin" etc etc. So I have just stuck to protein shakes and a steady work out.

                I do some cardio, but I try to balance it out without burning too much muscles. When I over do it on the cardio, it kind of seems like I didn't lift at all that day. What brand creatine do you recommend?

                    Completely agree with that. I get way better results when i do weight training over straight cardio. I think a lot of girls worry that they'll get big muscles & look butch, but unless you're naturally muscular it won't happen.

                    I never see people on phones at the gym, that would drive me nuts.

                      its true, I always hear girls saying they dont want to "get big" it makes me laugh because its not easy to get big and if it were we would all look a lot fitter with a lot less work.

                      Weight training is essential to burning fat and getting tone!
