Best place to drink while playing table games!

When you order drinks from a server like this, I assume you have to be playing high-limits to get nice booze? They're not gonna give me a Speyside 12yo Single-Malt while I'm playing $10 minimum craps, right? It's well liquor and shitty beer?

Always worth asking. Two things to bear in mind here, also. The first is that $10 minimum craps isn't really that low; even if you're just putting out occasional place bets and hardways, it's easy to have $30-40 out there without breaking a sweat, and that goes way up if you're pressing, making come bets, etc. The second is that, generally, the liquor selection is going to depend more on the casino you're in than the amount you're betting. What I mean is, if you're playing $15/hand blackjack, you're more likely to get good liquor Aria (where that's the lowest limit in the house) than you are at Excalibur (where that's definitely above their minimum).

Casino Royale! $4 minimum on roulette tables. Tip the waitress nicely on the first couple rounds and you're set.

I usually stay at the Venetian, and we would venture out here since it was next door. Get ready, and pregame and gamble at Royale.

We have done this samething on our trips. Not too long ago it was $2 mins with 100x's odds

I always get lucky there as well! Maybe its because we typically go to Royale as a cheap way to kill time or just to predrink, and never had any expectations but I usually come up whenever I go there.

My last trip, we were taking shots and I hit my lucky number twice in a row at Royale. Ended up adding on an extra bottle with my winnings during our pregame just for good karma!

It never hurts to ask. As mentioned above I would tip the server well on the first drink, then order something basic. When she comes back ask her about possibly getting the higher end drink. I mostly play at $5 or $10 limit tables (craps) and usually order vodka redbull or sprite, screwdrivers, or rum & coke. I typically tip the server $10 for the first drink, then $2-$3 per drink after that. It beats paying the regular price of $8-10 the casino bars usually charge per cocktail.

LOL. Casino bars always cost me $20... Cause I don't want to pay for the drink.. SO I throw $20 in the machine instead... Figure I might as well try to win something with the money I'm paying for the drink! lol

Cool! I'll be sure to check if they're willing to give me a nicer whiskey, especially after tipping well on the first drink.

I've ordered Crown/Coke at $10 min tables all over the strip. Only once did they bring Jack and I just drank it and pre-tipped and made my order clearer the next time. It's not complete upper end but it's not well either.

So I'm back, and had a fucking blast. Jack on the rocks and $3 craps at Casino Royale got me incredibly drunk, and I managed to walk out with more money in my pocket than when I walked in.

It was such perfect stumbling distance from the Venetian, where my girlfriend and I were staying!

Just an update on this, the fastest drink service I got whilst gambling was in the Luxor.

Had to turn down a couple of times because I hadn't finished my current drink.

Well if the drink service is free then you are probably gonna loose a lot of money while playing. So be careful about what you ask for..

Trying to reactivate this thread and forum for that matter. What kind of drink service can I expect at the Cosmopolitan? Do they give top shelf liquor (i.e Grey Goose, Crown) if requested?

If I get a good server and start with a decent tip, the old "sigma derby" horse machine at MGM has gotten me flat out polluted! It takes real quarters, a good crowd makes it fun. And I've won $300 in quarters a few times!

They have Hennessy, goose and crown but they did not have patron. If you play craps, the table closer to the entrance by a small bar is where the girls go in and refill the drinks. So, if you play craps you can get drinks very quick. Also, I play craps at the Encore and I always get drinks there very quickly and sometimes I even get two at a time as long as I tip the waitress from start of my order.
