A $5 tip for the first drink will place you higher on the cocktail waitress' priority list. After that, $2 or $3 per drink if the service is good and she checks on me often... also depends on how well I'm doing at the table. If the service is slow, $1 tip per drink. This has worked well for me at O'Sheas, Bill's, Flamingo, and even Cosmo. I usually order redbull vodka or jager, screwdrivers, vodka sprite, rum & coke.

Don't get too wasted and gamble away all of your money
Dang, I always go with the 1$ tips, granted I'm usually only on nickel or 10$ craps table. Hope I haven't been looking like a tight wad all this time :/
$1 is average but it's also the acceptable minimum. $2 is nice and $5 is very good.

If you're playing at the $10 craps table there's no need to tip more because she's not coming over there very often anyway, regardless of what you tip. They have a pretty set rotation in terms of how often they frequent certain areas. Tip more if she's really friendly or you order something complicated. "Green tea with a slice of lemon and just a dash of honey, not too much."

If I'm playing high stakes I will tip more because they have to come by more frequently and these shifts are what make up for hours of dealing with small tippers.

On the topic of well drinks as opposed to premium as a scotch drinker where is a good casino that will have better than average chioices? I'm not looking for macallan 18 or 25 or the over priced under taste JW blue but I wouldn't mind something similar

        1. Go to a bar
        2. Put minimum $20 in the machine at the bar.
        3. Play the machine - make eye contact with bartender.
        4. Order almost anything you can think of.
        5. Tip your bartender, enjoy your free drink.
        6. Repeat multiple times!

how much do you tip $5 for first drink then $2 after?

It depends on the person and their feelings on how much to tip, but that will work just fine.

If you start at $5 your drink will never be empty.

As mentioned, a nice first and second tip seals the deal for me! Even at places like O'Sheas or Casino Royale, the waitresses have been very generous with drinks when I tip more then $3 on the first couple rounds.
              Next trip: ???
