What is the appropriate sum to give a host that gets you in a day/night club? This is just for admission. I'm not talking about bottle service.

yeah i looked at the receipt and she charged me for both the Jagger and a full can of redbull...she did it on purpose too cause i was buying it for 2 girls so she took advantage of the situation. Now I always ask how much they cost haha...honestly though and I understand from the club's perspective...but they dont give enough alcohol in the drinks at tier 1 clubs. I went to XS the other day had 2 AMFS, 2 SoCo&Lime and a cranberry/pineapple/vodka and I didnt get drunk. FML.

Protip: when they stiff you on booze jump to wine. ~13% ABV and no way to water it down.

If you make contact with a host ahead of time and you have say, 3-4 people in your party, I would give $100. That usually gets you in free though if you have aligned everything ahead of time....
