I did some searching and couldn't find a definitive answer, so I'll ask again; excuse the redundancy.

Will I have problems getting into any of the tier-1 clubs with a black Burberry polo? I'll be wearing it with black leather shoes, and nice blue jeans.

note: if it helps I go clubbing a lot and do look the part

    Thanks,

    oozz

you'll get mixed answers on here. some will say okay with bottle service, others will say no, wear a button down long sleeve. for me, i think a polo is too casual for a tier 1 club. i save polo shirts for the pools.

          @Casino:
It looks like this, but mine is real... lol

I appreciate the speedy responses, but I think I'm going to go a bit more dressy/flashy.

          Thanks!

I think with bottle service if you rock some white framed shades and those dark jeans with some sneaks you can probably get away with it. Otherwise I wouldn't risk it.
*Only at certain Tier 1 clubs like XS/Tryst. Probably would never work at Tao or Marquee.

I've been in groups where a couple of guys have gone in with one on with no issues or weird looks or whatever - XS, Tryst, Tao.

It's not against dress code per se, so I doubt you'd get outright rejected.

I think it really just depends on your overall look. I've gone to Tier 1 with a cavali t-shirt and I'm fine (btls of course).

naw, bro....if ur not getting bottle service, there is a strong possibility that you will get turned around trying to get in rockin' a polo

Be safe and wear a button up. You have to keep in mind that clubs want to limit the dudes in their clubs, so they are looking for a reason to hate and tell you to bounce. Dont give 'em a reason.

So, I know I'm not going to be wearing a polo. But, a few of my friends are asking me what they should wear. Since I'm no expert I thought some of you may be able to answer these questions for me.

1- What is the weather like out there right now? Too hot for a blazer?

2- Can you get in XS/Marquee/Bank with a graphic tee and/or V-neck with a blazer over?

3- Are short sleeved button-ups okay?

                          Thanks again,

                          Oozz

... I would say depends the blazer - I have a few that let air flow really really good and are light in color - I don't see these being a problem

2- Can you get in XS/Marquee/Bank with a graphic tee and/or V-neck with a blazer over?
I would say its okay - depends a lot on the T-shirt 99% of the tshirts I own are a solid color vneck, so as long as everything matches and isn't like a "NIKE JUST DO IT" shirt, you should be okay. Please no Affliction/Ed Hardy

3- Are short sleeved button-ups okay?
Probably - but I would say just roll up your long sleeve.... Short-Sleeved button ups are generally reserved for IT/Engineers/Math Teachers
