So, I know I'm not going to be wearing a polo. But, a few of my friends are asking me what they should wear. Since I'm no expert I thought some of you may be able to answer these questions for me.

1- What is the weather like out there right now? Too hot for a blazer?

2- Can you get in XS/Marquee/Bank with a graphic tee and/or V-neck with a blazer over?

3- Are short sleeved button-ups okay?

Yeah, definetly avoid the polo.

I think the blazer look might work out well. Just make sure your wearing either dark blue jeans or black. Obviously make sure they dont have any rips and atleast like quality jeans as well. While I was at Marquee, I watched them deny a group of 3 guys because their dress wasn't "up to standards". These guys were wearing button ups, tucked in and dark jeans. The clothes looked a little old which would be my guess as to why they didn't get in.

Finally, watch the shoes. I was with my gf and two friends, we would have been denied because one of the guys was wearing white pumas. We were fortunate that they happened to have worked with the bar manager, but he had to actualy come out and walk us in to be allowed.

The basic morale of the story is, just play it safe.

Not that you didn't get enough responses disuading you from the polo BUT for what it's worth, from a girls perspective, even if you can get away with it don't wear it. We like the button down/ V-neck look
