Just wondering what you guys spend on the average night out at a club if you do NOT have bottle service?

Just curious on how much people spend going drink to drink (including tips) and also how drunk are you when you leave for the club
Here is the scale --
1 - sober
2 - a beer
3 - little buzz
4 - I feel like 10 lbs lighter than I am - just floating around
5 - half way between sober and dead
6 - words are getting fumbled
7- stumbling, mumbling, can't take a quality photo drunk
8 - wow I can't walk
9 - I've turned into Helen Keller
10 - puke, passout, shit your pants, have gay sex (normally straight), death is only a shot or two away drunk....

My last night out in Vegas was @ The Bank - there were 4 of us (2 guys and 2 girls) - I bought two rounds, 8 drinks,
Guys -4 beers, Girls - 4 VodkaCrans, 4 shots (shots were free but tipped a $20 I think)
I finished up at like $150 for the night for the two rounds and tips
I wasn't too drunk getting there (maybe a 4), and left more sober than when I came (3)... but I danced harder than I drank.


If I remember correctly I bought 2 rounds, my roomie got 2, and one of the girls got 1 round (no more shots came around - maybe my initial $20 wasn't enough)... so assuming they tipped like me - $48/rd. +$12 = $60 per round we spent like $300/$350 as a group that night.

Don't have any experience like that in Vegas since it always BS when there but here in SF, I once ran a bar tab up to $500. Luckily I had AMEX....

Depends on your tolerance, some people can spend $250+ on drinks and not past 3 on your chart. Personally I average about $200 per night if I'm not doing bottle service and I keep myself around 3 or 4.

I might get heat for saying this, but I think for a lady to go beyond 5 in public is pretty unattractive. I'm all for having a good time, but you should know your limits. Slurring your words or stumbling down the strip barefoot (etc etc) is just not a good look.

I think when I've really wanted to go cheap, I'll pre-game HARD in my room and start at a 5.5. Basically be sober enough to get pass the ropes and tip my host well for getting pass the line.

I'll probably be buy a drink an hour usually the strongest but cheapest drink I can get my hands on so I stay at around a 4 all night and then end up at a 3 by the time I leave the place... so maybe 60-80 bucks+ the tip to the host for getting me past the line so $110?

I dont pregame much, "2" at most. I dont care or count how much i spend on drinking in vegas clubs. leave at "7" or higher everytime.

I usually pregame a good amount so I'm at 4 or 5 when I enter. Usually spend ~50-75 in the club and get to 6/7 and maintain

One time I didn't pregame at all and dropped 200 (~150 on myself) and got up to 8 because all the alcohol I had earlier in the day was still in my system just lurking
