  • bottle service cash question

as everyone knows (cause everyone loves my posts on this forum) im travelling to vegas from australia march for 10 nights with 5 other lads.

so i am starting to get a budget together. How much would we be looking at IN TOTAL (cash) for say 3-4 bottles of vodka (just the cheaper stuff, we aint fussy) and say 12-18 cans redbulls, as think mixers like rasperberry is free at the higher level clubs on a friday/saturday night with BS.

    Summary as im not good with words;

    cash price for:
-3-4 bottles at clubs like XS on a fri/sat
-all tips/taxes including hand shake etc.

    thanks.

Bottles are around 450 for the basic vodka I believe. Gratuity is 20%, and Tax in Vegas I think is 8.75%

So per bottle your looking at 450*1.2*1.0875 = approx. 590
AndFor the Hand Shake that totally depends on how good of a spot you want to end up in, but I'd say generally at least a 100 per bottle.

    So in Short I would say your looking 600*4+ 400 = 2800,

This is probably a tad bit of an over estimate, but that just leaves a lil bit of tip money over for bouncers, the runners, etc. the other people who make your time at a table good.

    Hope that helps.

on a saturday at xs a good table is a 3000 minimum and up.

        Bottles of goose are 495 + 8.1% tax and tip = $640/bottle

If you did 4 bottles, you would probably get a back wall table inside(which is still pretty nice) on saturday, or a third tier table on friday, and it would run you $2520+$400 handshake if you're doing $100/bottle so $2920 out the door.

That same minimum would get you a dance floor table at tryst.

              bump and another question:
since theres roughly 3K min for good table at XS on a fri/sat.

How much would we be looking for the following on a friday or saturday in march (which ever night is better/busier)
              -bottle of dom perignon
              -2/3 bottles of vodka.

I'd guess the same. Prices don't fluctuate too much from March to August, and really will depend on the weekend in March (early March, maybe a small break.... late March, you're looking to be in Vegas during the NCAA Tournament which is notoriously busy in Vegas).

I think mid-April is usually slow because of Easter Holiday. BUT, also that is when majority of the pool parties start having good talent too.

So would you still be paying the same minimums in April as you would in July/August? Also would it be easier to get better table locations during April?

Minimums aren't increased or decreased based on the month... Vegas is a bit more granular than that. The minimums are based on a few factors:

1 - Day of the Week
2 - Holiday and/or Large Conventions in town
3 - Talent Sponsoring an Event / DJ Spinning an Event

So, if you have a Wednesday in April and a Wednesday in July, and both are not a holiday, and there's no Sponsored or DJ Events, then expect to pay the same.

I went in mid-April this year and last year and it was crazy. It was the weekend all the pool parties were starting up for the season, there was a porn trade show (conference? not sure what they call those in the porn industry haha) and the flights/hotels were still in their spring rates. April is a good time to go!

what if I just pay the minimum, tip, tax, but don't do the $400 handshake?
