Greasing palms?

I've done well in the past greasing a few palms... but never with a big group. I'm coming in July 22nd with 7 guys for a bachelor party.
Fri night: ?
Sat night: BS somewhere under $1k (or close.. just not tier 1 BS pricing)
Sunday: EBC.... then BS at XS at night.

I know the odds are against us getting in easily without BS Friday night & EBC on Sunday. We're just looking to skip lines and not deal with ratio bullshit. I was contacted by a VIP service offering "walk ins" for absurd amounts, so I'm curious at to what it'd take to do it ourselves?

*Would this be something I could work out with hosts, or do they only cover BS & guestlists?

Is your post about 'greasing palms' at any club or greasing at the palms clubs (moon, etc.)? Never had to grease at palms since rain first opened and the line was through the casino at 9pm.

I've seen multiple guys get denied while trying to grease at marquee. It doesn't always work...

Last August I hit Tao, Tryst, XS. The crowd at Tao seemed to have gone downhill a bit since I was there last in 07'. But Tryst & XS were amazing. I'm planning for 7 guys... so wherever the girls are, they'll be happy, and my job is done.

It's more about greasing palms at any club... as well as doing it with 2 guys vs 8 guys. Like, do I contact a host and try to work something out aside from BS.... or do I show up and do it live?

I haven't been to The Palms to party since 2005. Every time I've been back in town there always seemed better places, so we just went with the new ones.

Just go early.... XS is a big place and they want to fill it up. If someone like deadmau5 is there just buy a table.

We're planning on getting a table at XS Sunday night. And possibly a table somewhere else a little cheaper Sat night.

I just know Friday night everything will be packed, and EBC on Sunday morning will be too, so for 8 dudes, I figured tips would be the best bet without additional BS.

I havent been to rain in like 4 months. When i did go I went on saturdays for perfecto. Friday they have something called Clash Fridays. There always seems to be a younger crowd at the palms and it definitely has a party vibe to it.
Maybe you can try splitting into two groups and then grease that way?

Your issue is this...

Skipping lines with 7 guys + a night of drinks = the same price as bottle service

To skip lines your going to have to break into groups of at most 2 or 3 and its going to cost about 40ish per dude to skip that line... 20-30ish at lower tier clubs... After the 40 dollars grease you all still may need to pay cover... On the low end your looking at 40 per homeboy just to get in and if they make you pay cover as well your talking about 90ish per guy...

Your talking between 300 and 600 for 7 guys just walking in the door... Now add 200 each for drinks/shots ect. and your close to if not over the price you 7 of you should have paid for an epic night of Bottle Service...

The rain passes are great but at 145 each... 145 x 7 = over a G... You can get 2 bottles at Rain for that same price!!!

i've noticed this over the past couple years. The success of Tao didn't seem to change much but around spring of '09 ::coughXScough:: IMHO the crowds at all palms clubs seemed to start skewing younger.

Their clubs and casino always had a party vibe, but the overabundance of great tables at wynncore seemed to syphon off a lot of the new money 30somethings from Rain and Moon.

Greasing at clubs you can buy tickets for just doesn't make sense to me. You'll end spending more $$$ to skip the line/cover charge vs. just paying for the pre-sale ticket.

Two bottles vs. Wristband:

1 liter bottle is like 34 oz, your two bottles will be like 68 oz. of booze... figured 2 shots per drink so you're looking at 34 drinks off your bottles.
34 drinks / 7 guys = ~5 drinks a guy (that is assuming no girls come up and try and get some out of you... which I imagine is your ultimate goal).
So if your total is $1,000 total - depends what you're quoted at - (bottles + tip + cover + table) you get 5 drinks each at like $142 per person.

Wristband would be $145 per person ($3 more) and you get as much as you can drink in like 3/4 hours + cover/fast entry (but no table I believe)

You'll have to figure out what is more important to you, a landing pad for you and girls with a "limited" supply of booze, or the possibilty for a blackout night with a lot of standing

I believe EBC sells tickets too which is sometimes cheaper then cover. You might want to try that route.
