Greasing palms?

Two bottles vs. Wristband:

1 liter bottle is like 34 oz, your two bottles will be like 68 oz. of booze... figured 2 shots per drink so you're looking at 34 drinks off your bottles.
34 drinks / 7 guys = ~5 drinks a guy (that is assuming no girls come up and try and get some out of you... which I imagine is your ultimate goal).
So if your total is $1,000 total - depends what you're quoted at - (bottles + tip + cover + table) you get 5 drinks each at like $142 per person.

Wristband would be $145 per person ($3 more) and you get as much as you can drink in like 3/4 hours + cover/fast entry (but no table I believe)

You'll have to figure out what is more important to you, a landing pad for you and girls with a "limited" supply of booze, or the possibilty for a blackout night with a lot of standing

I would also like to think it's because of all the reality TV shows the Palms is associated with. Girls next door....Real World...Jersey Shore (Pauly D spins at rain)...The Ultimate Fighter finale is always held there and they mention it a lot throughout the season.

There is a wristband that is cheaper for entry to all the palms clubs (so you can hop between them.... then there is a wristband that is that + hosted bar/All you can drink

We're in the clean cut 25-29 range, obviously looking to have a good time. It's just about finding a good crowd/vibe that appeals to the guys in the group.

Greasing at clubs you can buy tickets for just doesn't make sense to me. You'll end spending more $$$ to skip the line/cover charge vs. just paying for the pre-sale ticket.

Tickets are more of a commitment. If we knew exactly where we wanted to go, or there was a particular event... sure. But it's almost worth a little extra to be able to swing by the club and assess the situation first.

Plus, I have a feeling with 8 dudes, even if we had tickets, there's a chance of a long wait, or other problems.

Thats the kicker for me too... but I also feel with a really solid pre-game + like 3 hours of hard drinking for free, it may be for the best it ends at 1:00.

Your issue is this...

Skipping lines with 7 guys + a night of drinks = the same price as bottle service

To skip lines your going to have to break into groups of at most 2 or 3 and its going to cost about 40ish per dude to skip that line... 20-30ish at lower tier clubs... After the 40 dollars grease you all still may need to pay cover... On the low end your looking at 40 per homeboy just to get in and if they make you pay cover as well your talking about 90ish per guy...

Your talking between 300 and 600 for 7 guys just walking in the door... Now add 200 each for drinks/shots ect. and your close to if not over the price you 7 of you should have paid for an epic night of Bottle Service...

IMO if you want tier 1 girls go to tier 1 places. you can obviously have a great time at non tier 1 places (hell i've had good times at LAX and Jet plenty) but just don't expect tier 1 females

Mr Bond be happy to set you up at club nikki that saturday for a good 2 bottle table (bottles start at 350$) we have the Amir Khan after fight party as for friday your better off breaking up in a group of 4 and 3 and just grabbing some girls. if you get to the club early with ladies you shouldnt have a problem greasing someone to get past the line.

For your age group, I think the Palms wrist bands is a great idea. Tao also does wristbands for the whole weekend which includes Tao Beach and Lavo. Marquee also sells wristbands and individual tickets. Lots of way to get around dealing with lines.

Hah, yeah... it's one of those scenarios where my eyes are bigger than my tolerance. But 10pm-1am is rough since we probably won't be getting to these places until at the earliest 11pm.

I totally agree. I just don't have the experience with these other places, so I'm not sure what to expect. Last August when I was in town, I only went to tier 1 places, so I was kinda spoiled. I just don't know what to expect at a place like LAX, or Gallery or Chateau (since I've never been).

If I showed up in town, and met up with a group of girls, we could have a good time at a hotel bar. Just trying to accommodate the rest of the guys in my group really.

8 dudes showing up late wanting to walk right in to a hot club. Not going to happen. Not a good look for them either. They won't even let you grease. They'll tell you to buy a table or nothing. If you split up youll loose guys because they don't always take the grease. Also at tryst there's no standing by the door you need to keep moving so even if you did break up and grease it would take an hour for all of you to get in.

It sounds like you like tryst and XS. Since youre going to XS it comes down to tryst. Instead of setting a limit on your budget and Vegas nightlife options, find a way to increase your budget from now to then and pop some bottles and tear it up.

I see what you're saying about the commitment thing. I've never been to Vegas with a large group, but I'm sure that can be a headache making sure everybody is ready and wants to go to the same place.

I went to marquee with 4 other guys and got right in with pre-sale tickets no problem. I got the impression that even with more of us it would not have been an issue. We got there at around 10.30 pm.
