  • What is your favourite hotel and why?

Doing the Las Vegas trip again next year from Australia, stayed at PH which was great and MGM which was had too much ppl traffic and took ages to get anywhere. Thinking of staying at PH again but would like to hear some of you guys thoughts on hotels. I am 28 and like to party.

Cosmopolitan is the spot for you. Great location, brand new rooms, balconies, and a strong selection of restaurants, pools and clubs/lounges. It also has the best party vibe in Vegas, IMO.

i agree even tho they have like on huge club its def a trendy vibe when u go there...i barely saw any older ppl for real, just partiers so i like that...kinda just like PH tho...go with the best deal between PH and Cosmo or even Platinum Hotel....its kinda like a hidden secret and voted number one in hotels...i would stay there but i get the free rooms at LV hilton so i cant break that....Stayed at Encore and its amazing BUT i hate that they dont hook u up with free entry to the clubs

WynnCore is my favorite - very nice, love gambling there, great daylife and nightlife on location and nearby, great food options on location

When taking price into account I really enjoy Palazzo as well. I prefer WynnCore but Palazzo is a better deal and has the same perks as WynnCore. In addition being a hotel guest gives you an advantage at Tao and Tao Beach (separate line, cheaper cover etc) at least early on in the day/night.

I'm usually going with at least 3 other guys so Palazzo is good for us because the rooms are huge and you can guarantee 3 beds without having to worry about sandwiching and stuff like that. Had 2 connecting bella suites for 7 guys this past weekend and it was perfect.

Haven't done Cosmo yet, the prices are just too rich for my blood. Cosmo is the hot spot right now though

I love the Palazzo because it's a gorgeous hotel with huge rooms and great, modern decor.

This hotel is much quieter and less crowded than the Venetian, but it's connected so you can be right in the action quickly. The Palazzo has all of the following features which are big selling points to me:

            -Awesome sportsbook/sportsbar in Lagasse's Stadium
-Pedestrian Walkway that connects you right to Wynn/Encore
-Connected on the inside to the Venetian, which puts you within a 3 minute walk to all the great restaurants and Tao nightclub/Tao Beach.
-Great deals for the space. You won't find better rates for a room this big that can easily sleep 6 people. The queen beds can each fit two, and then the couch in the sunken living room is usually a pull-out which can sleep another 2.

April 22-26, 2010 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
            June 2-6, 2011 - Venetian Bella Suite
June 21-26, 2012 - Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace Suite

I've stayed at almost every major property in Las Vegas, as I visit monthly. I remain a fan of the Hard Rock (HRH Tower). I like a louder, baudier atmosphere and have really only found that at the Hard Rock.

Wynn/Encore is the spot if high-quality service and attention to detail are what I seek. Never really warmed-up to Palazzo/Venetian, but they do a top notch job as well.

I've yet to try Cosmo, though it still appears to be the "in" spot this summer. My hidden "gem", if you will is The Trump. When I'm in town strictly for business, I've held many of my meetings there. Outstanding facility and service for this quiet, non-gaming property.

HRH for the same reasons already mentioned, plus the lack of kids there, which I have not found at any other property. When I go to Vegas I don't want to be surrounded by kids. I do want to stay at Cosmo though as I hear great things.

Since I haven't seen the rooms at Cosmo yet; My favorite is PH Towers. reasons: Center Strip, Non-Smoking environment, Miracle and Fat Tuesdays access, Pink Hot Dogs, Plush Mattresses, and overall best bang for the buck.

But what sets it over the top is the modern decor with the oversized in-room Jacuzzi. Then, there's the panty dropping Floor to ceiling windows with the automatic window shades that offer and unobstructed view of the city. The bed is so comfy with all the extra pillows making sleeping in a necessity.

We almost did that for our last trip but although the location is center strip it was too far from most of our day and nightlife options. 3/4 places we went were at Venetian/Palazzo or WynnCore. I definitely want to try it out once though

My favorite hotel is Bluestone in Narberth, because of it surrounded with natural splendor, largely within the renowned Pembroke shire Coast National Park, Bluestone is a new generation celebration village.

Every time we have gone we always have a room towards the south end of the strip (stayed at PH / MGM / NYNY / MB) but almost always get an extra room at Imerpial Palace - because they're soooo effin' cheap. Its really nice to be able to be at the opposite end of the strip and have a place to crash/rest your feet/etc etc. Last year we stayed at PH for Miss America and also had a room at IP for random nights we were at that end for whatever reason... with the deal they were running at the time we had a room at IP for 7 nights with a total cost of :$175... which was split 4 ways. So basically like $50 per person to have an extra crash pad... I think two of the ended up sleeping there more than our PH rooms.

for that IP has a special place in my heart... but I really like MB just because Steel Panther plays at the HOB and that is one of the most fun shows/nights you can have in Vegas is watching them play

I never had that idea of having an extra crash pad. That could come in handy
