I never had that idea of having an extra crash pad. That could come in handy
Its super nice when you plan on pre-gaming hard too.... you can drink hard, leave the room a stinky ugly mess and not have to worry about coming back to it until its clean the next morning

earlier this year my friend cockblocked us by throwing up on both beds. An extra crash pad would have been very useful

just got back last night from my first trip to vegas. cosmopolitan and encore FTW.

i wish someone had told us earlier how important it is to stay at a hotel with a major club. MGM and mandalay were pretty dead at night.

Cosmo is so overpriced and the service is a C+ at best. Yes, it has Marquee and rooms with balconies, but it's almost double what the other 5 star hotels are charging in Vegas. Not to mention they are in deep trouble in the gaming part of the hotel (which is a pretty significant aspect). This place has some issues it's going to have to address eventually...

I like Hooters. Cheap, clean and close to the strip.

I can easy take a cab to another hotel if I need.

Cosmo is very nice but the hype machine can get a little ridiculous. I might stay there if the prices drop or I can get a good deal but I've been in the rooms and it's not justified for it to cost significantly more than WynnCore

                    In Order
                    1. WynnCore - Can't be beat. The casino floor at Encore is enough to make a gambling man drool
                    2. Palazzo / Venetian properties
                    3. Aria
                    4. Bellagio
                    5. Hard Rock Hotel
                    6. Cosmo (Only discounted to #6 because right now they charge a ton for rooms)
                    7. TI
                    8. Palms
                    9. Planet Hollywood
                    10. Mirage

Honorable mention for the Mandarin Oriental, the only Non-Gaming Hotel I'd consider staying at.

Out of curiosity what makes you rate TI higher than Mirage? I felt Mirage was slightly nicer and it has a decent nightclub on property

                        TI has some advantages:
-- It routinely offers considerable discounts to room rates
                        -- It's beds are super-super comfy
-- It's the closest resort with short walk of access of my #1 and #2 spots (WynnCore and Palazz.)
-- I've had great luck at their Blackjack tables

I second T.I. over Mirage just for the beds alone.

Ahh ok, i haven't stayed in either in over a year so I don't remember anything about the beds. Also the one time I stayed at Mirage I think I only slept in the bed 1 night

Yeah, Mirage's prices can get high for a 4 star. That was actually the reason I did TI once.

I do like gambling at TI more. Mirage's tables have never treated me right

Hella disappointed in Cosmo's casino floor. I thought it was mediocre at best..

Really enjoyed my last stay at THEHotel. The room layouts are great. I have heard though that service has really declined..

I have stayed at a number of hotels in Vegas and will go with:

                              1-WynnCore
                              2-Venetian/Palazzo
                              3-THEHotel
                              Count the cannons....

Not a fan of Cosmo's floor either. Very weak compared to WynnCore
