So here it is, 2 girls from England, 2 weeks in Vegas. The whole trips a bit of a blur and we did a lot of touristy stuff so i’ll just skip over some bits. It’s gonna take forever to write up so i’ll post it a bit at a time...........
Day 1
After a sleepless night (too excited
) then a 10 hour flight we were both pretty exhausted when we arrived in Vegas, so nothing too crazy happened on the first day. We spent the afternoon drinking by the Excalibur pool, then went out and bar hopped in the evening, but i’m pretty sure we crashed and burned pretty early.....
Day 2-Liquid
Probably the one and only morning of the trip where i woke up feeling great, no hangover! We were up pretty early so we grabbed some breakfast in the Monte Carlo before heading over to the Aria.
I’d been in touch with Hali Tendler a couple of days before who said we could get lounge chairs for $50 f&b minimum, so at that price we decided to get one each. We arrived just as it was opening so it didn’t take long before they were ready to escort us to a great spot near the dj booth. We were introduced to our cocktail waitress then we were good to go.
It turned out there was free champagne for the ladies before 1 so we got right on it! This was our first ever pool party and looking around i was loving it already. We were surrounded by beautiful women and ripped guys, the suns shining, music’s pumping, we’re drinking champagne before midday, does it get any better than this?!
After the champagne we went straight onto the frozen cocktails, don’t know how many shots were in these but man they were strong! The whole days a bit hazy to me but i know we loved every minute of it. I vaguely remember talking to some cool guys from Cali who were on the chairs next to us (one of which left his $10,000 dollar watch behind then came back for it with the comment ‘i just can’t stop being stupid!!!’) dancing in the pool, champagne showers, cannon balls, laughing at the ridiculously drunk but hot guys on the daybed next to us......... the next thing we know we’re the last ones there and the security guys are threatening to throw Catherine in the pool while i’m trying to find my shoes which i’d left behind somewhere.
We somehow managed to spend over $300 and we’d forgot to eat so unsurprisingly we were in a bit of a state. Apparently we walked back to the Excalibur but i can’t remember any of that, all i remember is stumbling into our room, going straight to the toilet and throwing up (the only time in the entire trip that i spewed), then passing out fully clothed. Catherine told me the next day she was pretty worried about me and kept checking i was breathing because i didn’t move all night. Must have passed out at about 7:30pm and didn’t wake up until 7am..................

Didn't intend on spending that much but we got a bit out of control!
