Strategy... Cosmo room for 1 night??? Free Admission?

Minimum coves at door for general admission are $30 Friday, $50 Saturday.

Not unreasonable IMO given crowd control and quality of club. $10 for 16oz bud light is amazing and water is free (unlike some places like encore beach club where you pay $8 for an 11oz water).

Before Marquee opened, XS charged $10 for a 12oz bud light, they pour 90% of it in a plastic cup and pour the rest in the trash. Compared to that, 16oz bottles are heaven.

Room is 380 total with "CoStar" Discount

Tickets to each event on the day I'm thinking about going are 65 after service charge & tax...

65 x 2 = 130ish plus another 130 for night...

So we're talking 260 in entry... + Grease... It's about the same cost as getting the room...

Thats assuming that $100 is enough grease

You don't need to grease anyone if you have a ticket. Just go to the 3rd floor and get on the escalator. It's much easier than you could imagine...

I didnt say the table was going to cost $300. I was suggesting putting the $300 towards a table. At $20/drink (if you're not a tosser and actually tip) plus buying girls drinks(thats saying you get some to talk to you without a table), plus shots... you're at $700 bucks easy doing GA and you've been standing all night. I know 10 hosts i can call right now at marquee that would be more than happy to do a $1k min for 2 guys on a friday or saturday... or even a $500 min with a firm handshake. Dont be so hell bent on ratio of women you bring to the club. The $500 min with a handshake sounds good to me as there are only 2 of us hitting vegas in Aug from the UK, which host would you recommend?

This post opened my eyes a bit... It also changed my strategy...
Because there is only 2 maybe 3 of us my original plan was to do one night with 2 bottles (I figured I couldn't get a 1 bottle min) & use wristbands for everything else... Based upon past experiences I thought we had zero chance at a 1 bottle min anywhere we'd want to go... Now Im thinking about doing 1 bottle + handshake every night...

@Anthony... Thanks for the info...I'm staying at PH & I'll be giving you a call for Gallary or Chateau... What's the best night between the two Thursday - Sunday... Heck... for a one bottle min I'd be inclined to check them both out...

I account about $200 in hook fees, so that table is SO worth it.

$500 or $100 min at Marquee? What type of table does this get you? Everything I've heard or read has been $2k+min

I don't see how $500 and a handshake would get you anything more than the south facing "outside ledge" by the outside bathrooms (right below the main floor). It provides a good view of the Aria, but not much more. Hell, i guess you could bounce between the hip hop room and the main room. Probably still worth it...

I stayed at the cosmo beginning of June. I got free admission to the dayclub Fri, Sat, Sun. Only free admission to nightclub Fri. Sat we could have gotten in a shorter line but still had to pay cover. The dayclub is a great free option though.
