  • Strategy... Cosmo room for 1 night??? Free Admission?

Im staying at Planet Hollywood for my trip at the end of July. 7/21-7/25

I just got an Idea & I wanted to vet it threw the boards...

My plan is to book one night July, 23 at the Cosmo which as I understand it will get me into Marquee Day & Night Clubs without paying cover.

For two guys I figure it will save us at least 300 bucks on entry & grease.

The room would also give us a home base/drink fillup station/boom boom room... Anyone else see this as a good Idea?

Might want to confirm with Marquee. They told me they were at some point going to stop offering free admission to Cosmo guests and getting rid of the separate hotel guest line completely on Saturdays. Not sure if this is already in effect or not.

I was gonna check on all that... If anybody has been recently I'd love to hear about hotel guest admissions.

The way I'm seeing it... Presale tickets to Both Day & night for 2 is close to the price for the room for one night...

I emailed the concierge a month ago about my stay in August and said there was a free entry for hotel guests.

Does "free entry" include GA line pass, haha?

Save $300? Including the cost of the room? How did you figure that? Not sure what cover is there as I've never paid it, but say $40 tops each, that's $160 in cover total, then say $30 each in grease, that's another $120, or $280 total. Cheapest room I see at Cosmo for that night is $430. Which for the record is outrageous. And then you've still gotta slum it in some guest line.

Room is 380 total with "CoStar" Discount

Tickets to each event on the day I'm thinking about going are 65 after service charge & tax...

                    65 x 2 = 130ish plus another 130 for night...

So we're talking 260 in entry... + Grease... It's about the same cost as getting the room...

Thats assuming that $100 is enough grease

Marquee presale generally $30 on Friday, $50 on Saturday. For Kaskade the presale cost increased to $70 a week before. Non-holiday. Marathon passes for day/night both Friday/Saturday is $100.

No doorman grease necessary, show up at 9:00 for your ticket, in by 9:15, by 10:15 on a good Saturday night it's packed..

A lot cheaper than $430 a night for a room, which is ridiculous for Vegas. I'd get a hotel within walking distance if you can though, that 2am-3am cab line can be a bitch!

That much? Shit that's a lot. $100 for all four events seems great though.

He's at PH, which is super close. I've made the drunken walk from Marquee to Earls so I know its doable!

Minimum coves at door for general admission are $30 Friday, $50 Saturday.

Not unreasonable IMO given crowd control and quality of club. $10 for 16oz bud light is amazing and water is free (unlike some places like encore beach club where you pay $8 for an 11oz water).
