  • Dress shoes @ clubs? Conflicting reports!

So what's the deal? Do you need to wear dress shoes at clubs or not? I read the article on the main page and it says absolutely, but forum members are posting that many are wearing converse shoes...

I always wear dress shoes, but forum members on here have gotten into the clubs with all black chucks. It also might depend on your situation (Doorman might be more willing to let you with sneakers on if you have a table).

      Yes it's doable - various factors :

Locals who know people generally can wear whatever lol.

If you're getting bottles or good with the hosts there, then you have less to worry about as well

For others, depends how you look overall and how you carry yourself. If it looks stylish and preferably black color, then usually it's ok. BUT you're still risking it.

Tao is the strictest from member experience when it comes to dress code.

If you're not getting bottles, aren't cool hosts, and don't want to risk getting turned away, then go with dress shoes.

Don't take risks with Tao, they are def the strictest (even if you're getting bottle service).

Leave the chucks at home. That shizz costs like $30. This is Vegas we're talking about so dress it up! Nice, pimp dress shoes all the way...

              LOL

But he didnt say HE wants to wear converse. He was just saying that some folks say they have gotten in wearing Chucks. He prolly just wants to wear something other than dress shoes.

But, dude, suck it up and put on some nice dress shoes (or good looking casual or boat type shoes). I play it safe when in Vegas, not trying to get turned away.

I can't speak for all the JC women, but when I go out I like the men in the club to look just as good as the women. Kick the chucks, go with some dress shoes.

it's doable but if u want to be safe, always go with the dress shoes.
my bf wore black vans and his friend wore some fancy limited edition black vans and they got in fine at XS. none of the bouncers or hosts even looked at them.

At Marquee though, my bf walked ahead of us to the club while us girls were busy taking pictures when he called me saying he cant get in because of his stupid shoes. The one bouncer who stood in front ushering people where to stand in lines said no to his shoes. I was like, "i told you so!!ughhhh better be safe than sorry!"
but hell no was i going to let some random bouncer ruin our night by saying no to his shoe...
texted my host helping me that night, derrick. Him nor the rest of the doorman ever mentioned his shoes.
                  BooYA!

in the end, look your best and be safe than sorry. dress up! after all, your in vegas!

Is it really that hard to wear dress shoes?

i don't see what the big deal is with dudes and not liking to wear dress shoes. i wouldn't risk making or breaking my night over a pair of shoes.
                              I'm ridiculously ASIAN!
