I have a pair of all black Puma's that look kind of like dress shoes and I've had no problem anywhere including TAO. Very comfortable but I think they discontinued the line. I don't think I'd ever try shoes with white laces unless I had a table though.

no. it's not.Originally posted by Breeze View PostIs it really that hard to wear dress shoes?Originally posted by princesultan View PostSo what's the deal? Do you need to wear dress shoes at clubs or not? I read the article on the main page and it says absolutely, but forum members are posting that many are wearing converse shoes...
i wear dress shoes 5 days per week to work, where it's needed. i have numerous pairs of dress shoes and i really hate the fact of wearing them to go out partying.
that being said, i packed a pair just in case.

I don't think comfort is a big deal because you can just throw some dr. scholl's in them and be fine.Originally posted by d0nnald View Posti don't see what the big deal is with dudes and not liking to wear dress shoes. i wouldn't risk making or breaking my night over a pair of shoes.
I think it's the outfits people want to wear. Some people like to wear more casual stuff that look better with tennis shoes than dress shoes.2016 (past) - none

But on the weekends, I am pimped out in dress slacks, nice shirt, fancy tie and my ashely taylors.

Where what you want, just dont act like a dick if they dont let you in. Its really that simple. I wear chucks, sketchers, dress shoes, ect., just depends on the outfit and how Im feeling. And Ive worn them all to every club in vegas. But there is never a guarantee. Ive partied with Host before that were wearing baseball caps, beanies, hoodies, ect. and they were stopped multiple times in side the club and asked to take it off, but they just showed there business card, and they were excused.
There is really only a standard for playing it safe. Beyond that there is way to many factors for how your judged on appearance to get in.Blackout Artist

I'm coming over from England in August so our dress code is kinda different, would you get in with something like these http://www.topman.com/webapp/wcs/sto...82&pageSize=20 Not really keen on wearing dress shoes with a nice pair of chinos but I guess I'll have to if it means getting in. What about smart, stylish T-shirts are they a no-go?Vegas Trips
