If you lose something in a cab like a wallet or a phone you have a pretty good chance of getting it back. I was talking to one of the drivers, and they're all worried about getting caught stealing, so they turn everything into lost and found as soon as they find it.

Lol... We called my phone the next morning and the cabby said, nay, screamed, that I would never get my phone back. Fine with me! I wanted an iPhone anyways

we had several cab drivers that kept saying "OKAY, now before you exit the cab please check the seats for wallets, cell phones, cameras etc. So many people leave their stuff in my cab..." LOL thank you sir

The problem is that if you lose it in the back seat, if they don't notice ASAP (and they normally won't) the next few cab fares may keep whatever it is, if there is value. Then you can cancel any shot you have at a return.

Got back to the room 6-7am on Monday...went to empty my pockets and without thinking dashed down to the rotunda...luckily he was still there I had a bit of cash in there.

You were gone as hell after liquid and you dropped it and I picked it up as we were leaving together and tried to give it back to you, but you were being a social butterfly and I couldn't wrangle you at all. I tried to pull you under my wing but you squirmed out and ran off...(this was over the course of about 20 min) I was in no shape to try and chase you down, so I just held onto it. Then I saw Aria and I figured she'd see you before I would.

So NOW......... I always take note of the cab company and cab number when I use one.

This past April i was in Miami, I was staying at Fontainebleau, took a cab to Ocean Drive, I had a new shiny brand new high tech android phone, I guess when I was paying the cabbie I put the phone down on back seat and forgot it there. Called every single cab company in Miami Beach, but no luck, it was gone.

But lesson learned , now when I am in cab, I notate their cab company, name and cab number in my phone.

P.S: This might be off topic but comparing Vegas cab drivers to Miami cab drivers; i would say Vegas cab drivers WAY WAY WAY better! They down to have conversation, most of them smile, they know what customer service is. At least most of them i came across in Vegas. Couple of Miami cab drivers were really pissed me off.

hahaha man that Liquid sure knocked out a lot of AOD members. Pearce's shout out shots were clutch!
