I lost a few things in Vegas during mAyOD... Aside from my dignity and a little self-respect, I also managed to lose:

• my favourite belt (thank you EVERYONE who failed to mention its absence until 90 MINUTES later, lol).
• one of my favourite stud earrings (I don't even know where that could have went).
• my cell phone (douche cabbie has it now, ha).

I'm curious... WHAT DID YOU LOSE AND WHERE??

I realize now that it's stupid to ask where you lost something... If you knew where you lost it, chances are you probably could have found it again, lol. How about where you think you may have lost it?

Sunglasses. Somewhere between Liquid and Encore on Friday. Which sucks cause I actually liked that pair.
My passport. Temporarily, until Warren returned it via Aria. Not sure what happened there, but I feel it worked out for the best.

Probably a few other things I haven't realised yet.

As for me--- lost a credit card and didn't lose my iphone but it had an accident at Wet republic and is currently unusable...

Long Story Below:

Last year I booked a 2nd room for our last 2 nights in another hotel to be used as the "boom boom room". I hopped in a cab from the lobby (PH) to go check into hotel #2 (Rio), paid the cabbie from cash in my front pocket and got out. Stood in a long line and got to the counter and they asked for my I.D....... ah shit, wallet must have came out of back pocket in the cab. SHIT!!!
I had just enough cash to go back to PH by cab. Got back to room and called security for help. Of course I did not pay attention to which cab company or cabe number I was in. I barely remembered it was a van and any colors on it.
Security (PH) said that their cameras in that area are too grainy to pickup the info I needed and gave me the numbers to the cab companies it could be.
I called all those numbers, plus the taxi authority that put out a blast to all drivers on duty.
Believe it or not, within 45 minutes of getting out of the cab at Rio, they were calling me back to say they found the driver and he has my wallet in hand!!!
He was headed to another part of town when he heard the blast over the airwaves, remembered he had just done a PH pickup and pulled over and looked in the back seat.... there it was.
He came back to my hotel after his next run and returned it, just as I had left it. I wanted to tip him a $50, but only had a $20 in the wallet. He didnt want to have me go to the ATM and he said, just pay for the trip (where he came from) back to PH. I just gave him the $20.
I could not believe it all worked out!!! You are worthless out there without I.D. (not to mention the trouble to get back on the plane home).

So NOW......... I always take note of the cab company and cab number when I use one.

If you lose something in a cab like a wallet or a phone you have a pretty good chance of getting it back. I was talking to one of the drivers, and they're all worried about getting caught stealing, so they turn everything into lost and found as soon as they find it.
