Vegas on a Small Budget?

Any recommendations on how to survive Vegas for 5nights Sunday-Friday in August @ PH on a fairly small budget . We have the hotel comp'ed and already paid for the flight, just don't have much of a budget compared to most people it seems..some still in college and recent grads. Whats our best way to still party our ass off and still gamble some what and have the whole experience?

Happy Hours at places? wrist bands for clubs? cheap "good" food? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

You should check out O'sheas casino, its next to the flamingo i think. This place is crazy shady, but I always stop through and have a good time. They have low minimum tables and even beer pong, but ummm I'm not messing wit the beer pong (Unprotected beer pong leads to hepatitis or the damn swine flu haha)

Kidding aside, for the ultimate in budget Vegas, spend some time downtown. Cheap drinks everywhere, dinner is wicked affordable, and table minimums are the lowest in town.

It's just a group of guys. As for the alcohol we figured we would go to some store and just buy a few bottles right when we got to vegas to keep in the room for big time pregaming etc....Heard there was some liquor store right by PH or something?

Get one of those long bong/yard drinks... I have no idea where people get those but I always see people with them. If you drink it all you'll be good..

Fat Tuesdays in PH has them, so does the Forum Shops in Caesars. But really, you can find them anywhere.

For cheap liquor, go to Lee's in the Gold Coast hotel across from the Palms. Cheaper than on the Strip. For convenience sake, there are ABC stores everywhere.

- Gamble @ Places with lower table mins
- 2:1 ratio (Fastfood : Dining Out)
- Be early to clubs
- Relax @ Free pool & people watch (Free!)
- Set a daily budget

There are lots of Freebies if you look for them. For dining out get restaurant.com coupons. Also a lot of places have text deals. Stripburger, Mon Ami Gabi and El Segundo Sol have a thing where you text them and they text back a freebie. You'll have to google it to get the number.

Happy hours are pretty easy to find and the dive casinos have great cheap drinks. Casino Royale is great odds and has $1 Michelobs. Bill's has $1 Newcastle and a fat Elvis. O'Shea's has $1 Miller and a midget. Really, you can see how fun this could be.

I second the yard drinks too. Those things are heavy too. It's like a meal...

Other options for going out is to get in touch with the hosts from this site and get on guest lists for the clubs or get there early and get in with little or no wait. Also, try some of the smaller lounges/bars instead of mega clubs to save money. Eye Candy at Mandalay Bay, Caramel at Bellagio, Heart Bar at Planet Hollywood, Blush at Wynn, V-bar at Venetian are a few great spots with no cover (Blush may have a cover), good djs and a good time. Also, Carnival Court outside of Harrahs is a good option for a fun night.

ha, that is def. a plan on mine...the odds are against me, but thats what vegas is...I'm gonna be like charlie sheen #winning.
