  • In your opinion, what is the best weekend of the year in Vegas ?

    Hi All

Planning starts for 2012 here. There will be a group of 10 guys, we want to go for a long weekend in Vegas (Thurs-Sunday) and are very flexible as to when.

In your opinion, when is the best time to go ? Obviously this can take into account weather, great deals, and of course lots of bachelorette parties in town :-)

    Thoughts ?

Toss up between Memorial Day Weekend or Labour Day Weekend.

Is MDW worth the extra cost (price uplift on Hotels, Bottle Service) vs a regular summer weekend ?

I'll be there during edc. Are you expecting clubs to be busier or is that more daylife? Hoping its not a mess to try and get in anywhere.

For me, no. I can't justify paying double, triple or more just because it's the unofficial start of summer.

With that money, I could use it come back several times in one year instead of once in that year.

I like the holiday weekends... Its packed and the best DJ's and talent are at the clubs and pools. It is expensive though.. MDW is the kick off for summer so everyone is super pumped. I'm doing 4th of July this year to see how it is. Been doing LDW last few years but it's always bitter sweet because its so much fun but I also know that summers ending and the pools are closing.

Halloween hands down. Club pricing isn't nearly as outrageous as MDW or LDW.

Plus the girls get very creative.

Halloween was a blast this past year, regular pricing, crowds were great.

I havent been to Vegas to any of the other holiday weekends but I can only imagine how they are

if mayweather and paquiao ever fight it'll be in vegas. those fights manny fought in arlington at (my) cowboys stadium were just to see how things are out there. mayweather lives in vegas and paquiao trains in LA and he and his fans love vegas. there's no way each fighter would subject themselves to an unfamilar environment for a fight of that magnitude. they're comfortable in vegas and they'll make tons of money no matter what.
