Long weekends are killer in vegas, it gets crazy! Every person thats within 4-5 hours of driving distance is there. Clubs are packed wall to wall, wait times for guys can be hours without bottle service. Bottle service also sells out quicker/are saved for big gamblers. It may be worth experiencing it once. I'd pick Labor Day over Memorial Day. Avoid NYE.
In your opinion, what is the best weekend of the year in Vegas ?

+2!!! If your not here your fucking up! Best deals and awesome people out there!
I've done LDW and NYE and LDW was a blast but much more expensive however NYE seemed to be a bit more normal but Jan 1st was a bit dead it seemed like. Oh and the weather for LDW when I went was fucking awesome!................

MDW and LDW get too packed and overpriced for my opinion - for example XS charging guys $100 for GA during MDW
I personally think July 4th weekend is underrated. Pool parties are in full force and there isn't the same ridiculous crowd or prices with MDW and LDW. Those weekends are crazy but Vegas already has enough people on a regular summer weekend so it can be too packed and become too much of a hassle.
Heard Halloween is absolutely nuts but pool season is over.
NYE is crazy and fun but cold and no pools. But if you're a big sports fan it's a great weekend with the big BCS bowls and important NFL games. It's also pretty crowded and NYE night will be way overpriced but not the rest of the weekend2016 (past) - none
2016 (upcoming) - June 10th - 13th. Venetian. Invasion schedule

Vegas is fun no matter what time of year you go but for some occasions it gets even better, but my favorite times to be in Vegas are;
March Madness - St. Patty's Day= More younger , spring break crowd is in town.
MDW= It is not crazy hot yet and all the pool parties in full effect.
September= Due to my birthday month
NYE= I mean come on, it is the day even people who doesn't party lets loose so in Vegas it gets more crazier.
For NYE I would personally stay away from the strip and pre-plan to party at Tier 1 Club that has strip view. This past NYE I was at Lavo, great people, open bar, awesome food and we were able to witness the fireworks from the patio. Had a blast.
And now I will be attending the mAyOD, so I am pretty sure I will have another favorite time to be in Vegas !!

I'm a 4th of July veteran, I've never done MDW or LDW. exceptionally hot at the pools...the sun and the eye candy, the clubs are packed and since its 108 degrees, everyone dresses light! How can you beat that
...the main issue with the original poster is that a really long weekend has to include NOT LEAVING on SUNDAY! its the main pool party day! Wet Republic, EBC, and Rehab! I hate flying on an actual holiday due to the crowds and lines, so I usually arrive a day earlier and leave a day later.

I've noticed that the AOD (both this year and last year) have been timed to be the weekend before MDW. Do you think that'll be the case for 2012 also ?
I am guessing these dates must offer a great combination of guaranteed sunshine, no crazy holiday traffic, and lots of great deals in town on hotels and flights, before the madness of MDW kicks in. Is Vegas still nice and busy on the AOD weekend ? (aside from AOD'ers !)
I'm very tempted for AOD 2012...

haha, I wouldn't go as far to call you a sucker. Just someone who is willing to pay for what they want. The crowd is actually the bigger deterrent than the prices. I can't stand when the casinos are too crowded and I can't get a good table and don't like when it's impossible to move in the clubOriginally posted by scooner View Postim one of the suckers that got a presale ticket for XS MDW. but i got a hell of a deal on my hotel so it all balances out lolOriginally posted by not a vet but no rookie View PostMDW and LDW get too packed and overpriced for my opinion - for example XS charging guys $100 for GA during MDW

Once pool season starts I don't think there's a bad weekend in Vegas. Well there's not really a bad weekend in Vegas but one time I went in March and it was relatively tame and not crowded by Vegas standardsOriginally posted by Mr C View PostI've noticed that the AOD (both this year and last year) have been timed to be the weekend before MDW.
