I'm always partial to a Chelsea boot when going out - looks great with jeans and slacks. Never wear my really good shoes out, so I usually take Kenneth Coles, JCrew's or Mezlan's with me [Never taking the C&J's and John Lobbs with me to party... yeah... I've got a shoe problem... Forty-plus pairs and counting!]. Monk straps also work well at night...

But... if you're going to use the shoes for a wedding first, I'd suggest just going to for the straight black oxfords...

If its for a wedding, I would recommend a nicer pair such as cole haans, johnson murphy, salvatore ferragamo, merchanti fiorentini. But you won't want to take these to the clubs as these can be a bit pricy.

Good dress clubs shoes that are reasonable in price (under $100) that can be taken to wedding and clubs are Aston, Bostonian,

In Chicago, I typically wear brown shoes (not as dressy) or white Steve Maddens but some clubs in Vegas won't allow you in with even dressy sneakers.

I picked up a pair of Nordstrom brand shoes from Nordstrom - there's cushions built into the shoe, so it's really comfortable to just stand in - definitely something that's a plus when you're walking all over Vegas, having to stand in a wedding ceremony and partying it up in Vegas. Was $99.

My Cole Haans that I wear out cost about $100 to $150. Nice enough to pass in a dark club, cheap enough that I'm not pissed when something is spilled on them (or worse).

Depends on the budget ... low end, Ken Cole/Banana Republic/Cole Haan could work.

Upper end, Gucci, LV, Ferragamo, Prada dress shoes are classic. Just don't get the logo printed all over them, that's tacky. Just my two cents.

I get my going out shoes at Aldo (if you have any of those around you). I get a real comfortable pair of black dress shoes for $65.00.

I have a few pairs of expensive shoes but im not wearing those out to clubs.

Get 1 pr of going out shoes for $60-$80; 2nd pair for weddings/work for $150-$200. Solves both problems and you have shoes that serve their purposes.

Hopefully this works.. these are kinda funky I just picked them up on sale for about $50. I get away with these in Chicago, not sure about Vegas though. I wear a lot of diesel shoes.
