I'm going to Vegas from May 5-9. I prefer hip hop music when I'm out at a club, but once the liquor hits, it is what it is. But are there any Tier 1 clubs that have maybe a seperate room for hip hop? I will be getting tables the 4 nights I am there. Thanks in advance.

Tier 1/2 that have separate hip hop rooms - Marquee, Tao, Jet (although it hasn't been open the last few times I've been so I'm not sure).Originally posted by MoneyMike721 View PostI'm going to Vegas from May 5-9. LAX and Jet also play a decent amount of hip hop in their main rooms. I think Vanity does too. IMO XS doesn't play enough.
Not sure about places like Haze or Tryst.
I may be forgetting some.2016 (past) - none

Marquee Boombox is #1.
Tao Opium Room is #2.
Check out Crown, Eve and LAX. Chateau also might have what you're looking for.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

From the last time I was at Jet, they had a small room that played hip-hop. The music was good, but I wasn't a fan of the layout. It just didn't feel as classy as some of the other clubs that play hip-hop. It seemed more of a sterile environment.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Jet is definitely Tier 2 maybe even Tier 3 when judging layout and "niceness" of the club but it usually has a good crowd and it's fun. It definitely lacks the wow factor of some of the newer places like XS and MarqueeOriginally posted by MoneyMike721 View PostI agree Ashroid, I went to Jet last year and you could tell it was a few notches below the main clubs.
Ehh it's a mix of hip-hop/pop/top 40Originally posted by djnonsense View Posti thought jet mostly played hip hop in the main room?2016 (past) - none

I would suggest Marquee - hottest spot out now with good ratio and so many people pretty much guaranteed to find someone of your liking. Also the hip hop room is fun - don't know if it was a resident DJ or not but on 4/2 the DJ was really good and took some requests.Originally posted by djnonsense View PostSeem like some people on these forums are more concerned with the wow factor of a club more then anything else. I prefer a good crowd and good music more then anything.
LAX and JET meet your criteria of good crowds and good music. Never been to Crown so I can't comment on the crowd there but it is a hip hop spot
It definitely doesn't. Some of my boys can't stand it and our trips XS has only been memorable for the crazy times at the blackjack tables (save for one time we had BS). Now that Marquee is open probably won't do XS again without BS.Originally posted by djnonsense View PostI hear xs doesn't play enough hip hop/top40.Originally posted by darksideofjae View PostI think XS rotates Top 40, Hip Hop, and House. Yea when I was there last year the hip hop set was definitely lacking. If it wasn't for potential No Cover/No Wait for MayAOD I probably wouldn't even go to XS.Originally posted by djnonsense View PostI hear xs doesn't play enough hip hop/top40.Originally posted by darksideofjae View PostI think XS rotates Top 40, Hip Hop, and House. The other thing too is that a lot of places like the big clubs are catering to those who wanna pose. To each their own. I want good music and good people, not be around people who think their sh*t don't stink.
As well, someone had said on here that hip hop doesn't sell tables. I'll neither agree nor disagree with that, but unfortunately it seems electronic dance music is what's selling tables right now, not hip hop.
Just my feeling: I love hip hop music - not gangster rap, but hip hop is equated with "hood"/ghetto lifestyle. I see it in Las Vegas when I walk by Rockhouse and by the comment that was made for the security/off-duty police officers at Crown...why doesn't this happen with electronic dance music clubs?
But luckily we do have a good range of choices if you're looking for places that play hip-hop.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.
