Well, Marquee just had their much anticipated pool opening this weekend. Can the forum give us the verdict? I know that it just opened but for anyone who got the chance to go, does the Marquee Dayclub have what it takes to unseat Wet Republic and EBC as the new #1? Let's talk about it!

Ok, I just found out that the opening was foiled due to bad weather so the lack of responses makes some sense. However, we've had another week that should've been better weather-wise. We were at Marquee nightclub, the night before the dayclub grand opening. We were invited to the grand opening but passed because it was f'in cold out that day. I hadnt heard they rescheduled it...We checked out the area while at the nightclub and it looks amazing. Its not as big as Wet, but as big, if not bigger, than TAO Beach. Went on Tuesday (open all week). It's very nice but small. Had the morning hangover cure frozen cocktail (2nd drink on their menu) it was perfect for a nice warm day. Tao Beach size is about pretty accurate. Obviously on Tuesday it wasn't a party just people chilling at the pool. It was a good time though. Played some house / hip hop most of the time I was there. It looks like it going to be very expensive depending on what day and DJ is going to be there at least if you are going for table, cabanas, or chairs. I was speaking to one of the waitresses inquiring for when I come back for a bachelor party in June and she mentioned that the cabanas with the personal hot tubs were gonig for a 10K F&B minimum. Chairs were about $250. Then prices went all over the map depending on location. Without one of those options there is no where to really set up. Both pool areas are surrounded by all the beds and chairs on all 4 sides.Comment

Aww bummer that its about the size of Tao Beach. I was hoping that EBC/Wet can get some serious mega party pool competition. However Tao Beach can throw it down though. It really comes down to the talent they book.Comment
