  • First trip in a while - Men's fashion suggestions?

    Hey all,

This is my first post. I stumbled across JC, and the forums seem to be full of people with great information. So, I haven't been to Vegas in about 2.5 years. What should I wear to the clubs and such? Any popular brand suggestions? Here is our schedule (May 13-16):

    Friday day: Wet Republic
    Friday night: Vanity
    Saturday day: Rehab
    Saturday night: LAX
    Sunday day: Tao Beach
    Sunday night: Bank or Surrender

    Thanks for the help!

Wear what you feel looks good on you.

The only requirement is that your shirt have a collar and your shoes be leather.

Those aren't 100% requirements either but if you follow that you'll have no hassle.

        Thanks for the help.

Sorry, my mistake. We're going to the HRH pool on Saturday, I know that it isn't the real "rehab".

Yeah, don't try to be Mr. Super Fashion, for one it's too damn expensive and for two it's just not worth it. If you go out feelin good and lookin good in your own way then you're way better off. Typical Fashion out there hasn't changed in 2.5 years, take a look at JC's Dress Code and you'll be safe...

Wear whatever you are comfortable in but also use JC's guide as acgato posted as a guideline. For MayAOD i have one pair of jeans i'm wearing one night and the rest will be dress slacks. Only because majority of my pants are dress slacks or khakis. I think I own about 3 pairs of jeans.

For shirts button downs and polos are nice. I particularly love Express's MK2 shirts. I love the fact i'm able to roll them up when it gets too hot.

Yes thats the business! If you want to keep things simple, then go with the JC guide. It only gets tricky when you are trying to roll in semi-cash with T/ripped jeans and sneaks. If you have bottles, most of the times you won't be judged as harshly.

What about a collarless Henley shirt but with a vest over it. Is that allowed in clubs?

Thanks everyone! We're not getting bottles any nights, so I guess I'm a little more worried about getting in. I'll bring a nice pair of jeans and a pair of dress slacks, and a handful of my Express 1MX shirts (I don't like the pockets on the MK2s).

From what I can tell, collars are always a better idea.

Are polos pretty much accepted at all clubs?

Probably accepted... But the general advice is to wear a button down. Polos aren't looked highly upon. The JC dress code guide is really good, someone posted it a few posts up. You should check it out.

Thanks Mikey, that's what I figured. Not trying to sound cocky but I dress very well and I can pull of a certain polo (black) I would like to wear to a club. I don't want to have to get to a club and change into a different shirt.

I feel as though the "fashion guidelines" are an assuring way to make sure people who have no sense of style look decent when they go out -Mainly to to keep the image of whatever club as upscale/clean/put together as possible.
