Looking at booking the venetian for a bachelor party this summer and we are looking at putting four people in a rialto suite. Hows the vibe in the hotel and main pools? Tao and Tao beach are in the venetian or Palazzo? Im confused are these hotels right next door to each other? Hows the location of this place and how far of a walk to Encore and Cosmo? Looking at $700 for a thurs-sunday stay here in this suite so if anyone thinks we would be better somewhere else let me know!
Hows the Venetian?

The Venetian is a great hotel, and it's actually connected to Palazzo. They look like two separated hotels/towers (and they are) from outside, but the inside is all connected and you can walk to and from either hotel/casino pretty easily.
The vibe is pretty good there - it's a bit of an older and classier crowd than, say, Planet Hollywood, but it's good. The regular pools are pretty standard, but the Venetian has Tao Beach on top of the nightclub which has really good daytime parties on weekends.
The Rialto suite is a great room, but you might not need it. The Bella Suites are a little bit smaller (but still plenty spacious) and are probably markedly cheaper. The Bella Queen suites still have your 2 queen beds + a full sleeper sofa in the sunken living room.
Tao and Tao Beach are both in the Venetian. Tao is the restaurant, then the nightclub is upstairs. On top of the nightclub is Tao Beach, which is their party pool open during the day.
The Palazzo has Lavo, which is good on Friday nights and great on Sunday nights. They also have Azure pool, which is an outdoor pool that has sort of a daytime party vibe but isn't as good as Tao beach. You can easily access all of this by staying at the Venetian.
The walk to Wyn and Encore is pretty short, just over a pedestrian bridge - probably a 5-10 minute walk. You wouldn't really walk to the Cosmopolitan from there, since that's down toward the South End of the strip and next to the Bellagio. That would be about a $12-15 cab ride.Vegas Trips to-date:

This is a great point he just made about the Rialto being a waste... I've stayed in the Bella & Rialto rooms and the layout of the two are nearly identical... The extra space of the Rialto is not well used at all... So while Rialto may be bigger, all that extra space does not improve the functionality of the room whatsoever... A lot of the "extra space" is wasted in the doorway area... After staying in both of these rooms I wouldn't even spend 10 extra bucks to stay in the Rialto Suite... I'd actually highly suggust changing your reservation to the Bella and use the extra money for the Greese Sandwhich to get a sick view...Wolfpack is ready 7/21-7/25

Mirage just finished renovating their rooms last year and they're actually awesome now. Very modern with flatscreens, and even the Tower Suites and penthouses are re-done.
With all of that said, I'd still stay at the Venetian. If you're around 30 years old, you'll love it there.Vegas Trips to-date:

+2 for Venetian and Palazzo. Both are fantastic properties. And they're close to Tryst/XS/Lavo/Blush/Tao/Surrender. Take a look on youtube for videos of the rooms. The Bella suites should work very well. That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

Stayed at the Venetian last year and in the Rialto suite, didn't have a single complaint. The room was great, spacious and the bathroom was massive. I would highly recommend it but if you're looking to shave cost a little i'm sure the Bella's are great as well, it was a fight weekend so we took what was left which was the Rialto.

Just so we're clear, the only difference between the Bella and the Rialto is some space between the beds and the TV. It is not well-used extra space at all.
Bathrooms and living rooms are the same size in the Bella Suites and the Rialto suites - 130 sq. feet, both huge.Vegas Trips to-date:

They advertise 134 per night on JetSetter. I clicked a couple of dates and didn't get that price. Also know they collect a 'resort fee' when you check in and almost always, the websites don't tell you this until you check in at the hotel. I think it's 17$ a night. PM if you don't have an account and I'll send you the link. That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

I just booked through this for my trip in july at the venetian:Originally posted by paul07ss View PostLooks like jetsetter is the best place for the venetian as far as pricing goes.. anyone know any promo codes or anything.

Im also a member of Jetsetter and the prices actually came down to around the same prices for the dates that im going (the venetian website with the 60 day advance purchase is actually a little bit cheaper)
but def check both out and see if you can get a good deal!
