Hows the Venetian?

Venetian is awesome. You can get to quite a bit of awesome stuff with either never going outside or just across the street.

Once you stay there, you'll never forget the smell though.

I've stayed in a bella suite before and reserved the same suite again in May. I always tell people how much I hate the Venetian because of the smell and older crowd but the suites are great if you're sharing a room with a bunch of people. We easily fit 6 girls in one suite! The other advantage is Tao Beach and Tao right there - vey convenient! It's very central too, The Wynn and Encore is a short walk, 10 mins tops!

BUT Like Charles said, you'll never get over the potpurri stank :S

I forgot to add that if you sign up on their webiste for email offers they are always sending out deals starting at $129/night.

We're paying around $650 for a bella suite for MAyod

I always book the lowest suite and sandwich a $20... 100% upgrade success so far. Usual upgrade is to a Bella View

one time my buddy got upgraded to the Palazzo Hospitality Suite for a mere $20 and we paid a grand total of $300 for 3 nights

I'm going to book at the Venetian (May 26-29) with the promo code that expires on april 6th. $159 thur, $199 Fri, $359 sat. It's 3 of us staying in the Bella, but I was told that every room doesn't have a pull out couch. If not, is there enough room for an air mattress? Also, for $40 more on Sat. we can stay at the Palazzo (guaranteed pull out couch). Any advice would be appericiated.

Always enter two, no hotel ever checks. If you're really worried - just have no one else join you at the check-in counter.

Yes - not as crazy as the other "party" pools. Pretty relaxing and cool.

hey brett.. I did mgm last year.. do these places compare at all? MGM was a good time.. place was packed and the pools were nice! we had a good time at the regular pools/lazy river
