Expired ID, I need help

((I know this has been posted multiple times but none are my same exact scenario))Been to Vegas a dozen times and never seemed to really ever be id'd. But on my 25th birthday 2 days ago my id expired and im heading to vegas in 1 week for a bachelor party weekend. Im from idaho and living in socal now. There is no way to get even a photo id card in time from either state. Am i screwed for getting in most the clubs? I def dont mind tipping the doorman if I have to. Thanks in advance

Sorry bro. I wonder why they didn't send your renewal id a month or so beforehand.

Some doorman may be cool with a really recently expired ID and some may not notice to be honest. But It's of course hit or miss and I don't think it's a matter of greasing. No one wants to be the doorman that let in the underager that got caught and resulting the club getting fined a ton.

Expiresd ID's are generally accepted as lomg as they are they are with in a 30 daywindow..
I personally think you will be fine..

If you plan on doing table service during the week, let whoever the host you are working with know in advance.. the host shold then give the door manager the heads up and 99.9% of the time it will be approved..

although with an expirted id, you will not be able to pay for any bottle service.. so someone in your party would have to pay, if using a card.

I would, but mommy still has my birth certificate in new York so cali won't let me unless I have it since my license isn't originally from here. Just really bad timing. Thanks for the responses guys ill just cross my fingers

Tell mommy to overnight that birth cert and then get that paper extension. Could save you alot of hassle. I dont want to be the bad guy but sure would suck to go to Vegas and be the only dude that cant get in.

I went to Vegas a few weeks ago with a recently expired California license and no passport. Most bars/lounges/lower key places did not ask to see the paper extension CA gives out (which I also had with me). So you may be in luck there. As far as clubs, it may be a roll of the dice and depend on the bouncer. On a Friday night at Marquee, one bouncer specifically said he didn't care as long as it was within 30 days of expiration. The next night, a different bouncer at Marquee required me to show the extension before letting me through.

Thanks guys, ya money isn't the issue just a hassle I know for my mom to find it then get it mailed in time. So rolling the dice unfortunatly. And I am flying I thought expired id on plane is ok?

I flew with expired id AND paper license in May of 2009 and at the security check points, they were ALL over that paper license. They told me, "good thing you have this!". So idk, buddy.
