Expired ID, I need help

Thanks guys, ya money isn't the issue just a hassle I know for my mom to find it then get it mailed in time. So rolling the dice unfortunatly. And I am flying I thought expired id on plane is ok?

I flew with expired id AND paper license in May of 2009 and at the security check points, they were ALL over that paper license. They told me, "good thing you have this!". So idk, buddy.

I remember looking into this various issue and you actually do not legally have to have a photo ID to fly domestic. If you don't have anything you can still board a plan with a vigorous screening process. I once used and expired ID in combo with a school ID and had nothing extra happen. I wouldn't worry about being able to get on the plan just allow EXTRA time for security.

I hope this works for you! My best friend is in the same situation. Her ID expired yesterday and we are going to Vegas on Friday. She is getting the renewal papers tomorrow. After reading this I think she should be fine since she is really attractive as well. I am sure Vegas is getting this issue more lately because CA IDs are taking on average 3 months due to them changing them completely. Just a tip though for anyone getting a replacement my CA State ID only took a month where as my DL took 3... But luckily I have a passport so all is well if I do lose my ID again.

I live in Texas and it took about 2 months to get my renewed DL in the mail after renewing. Places like Lousiana make me sick. They go into the DMV and SAME DAY, get their renewed DL.

I brought a copy of my birth certificate along with me just in case but the paper license along with the expired id worked fine. I had no problems getting into clubs or anything - it was just the flight that may have been an issue had I not had the paper one. And it was both the Houston and the LV airport security that said something about it.

Thats crazy talk, I am from NJ and all I need to do is walk in, wait 5 minutes (now that they fixed that issue, used to be like 2 hours) and BAM! New ID in my hand ready to go,. I couldnt imagine having to wait all these months.

agreed, it's such a pain in the ass in TX. I've been lucky so far but I've had friends who had to wait 2-3 months to get their license in the mail. they always screwup the address too, and getting the problem corrected can sometimes be harder than quantum physics.

as mentioned it above it can be a hit or miss with club door guys and the TSA. If you google more on the subject you'll see that some TSA agents were strict about it and some were not. your best bet is doing everything you can to get the temporary paper ID.

called southwest and the lady said they can not deny me boarding the plane(due to id) so im cool there. We are doing tao, xs, or marquee fri and sat night. Hope they are lenient! i hope they dont go more harsh on me when they see 10 dudes roll up:/ haha def have to split up

I had my wallet stolen in Vegas the day before I was leaving and TSA wasn't even a bill deal. I showed them a business card and something else, I can't remember. It was no problem. Just plan a little extra time in case they search your bags.

And btw, to any of the club guys on here. Which club is best for this fri and sat night? fri night is all doods, sat night we are gonna be a big group of girl and guys mix. like i posted tao, marquee, and xs r the ones ive heard my friends wanna do. The only club ive ever done was lax and wasnt that great from what i remember.

I should have followed up before.. There were no hickups, whether it was buying alcohol on airplane, airport, liquor store, casino, pool, etc... We had bottle service 2 of the nights and it wasn't even checked either of those times so the clubs were no prob. The few times on the trip it was checked, I don't think they even looked at expiration date. I think you will be fine for sure, you are good looking, you have renewal papers, and you are with a group of girls. I doubt any probs for you!

O and my friend who is a girl who also had expired id, didn't have any issues all weekend either
