    +1
AND just an FYI--online site to avoid: AMI Clubwear! Most of their stuff does look slutty/stripperish-even if you find something that's not, it is cheaply made and poor quality and forget about returning anything, customer service is def. lacking!
I feel sorry for people who don't drink, when they get up in the morning, that's best they're gonna feel all day!

      1) Will the host who puts you on the guest list be there to walk you in? From reading all the great advice it seems women don't pay cover, but should we tip instead and if that's the case, how much are we "expected" to tip?

      2) Are there any pools/resorts that are open to the public/non-guests? With the exception of pools like Rehab/WR/etc.

      3) Thinking about staying at the Signature Suites. Are the bathrooms big enough for 4-5 girls to get ready in?

      Thanks for the info!
      1. yeah it depends, i was met by a host at Lavo and Tao but every other place i've been guestlisted they just told me to ask for a certain person at the door or just ask for the guestlist line. Generally I don't think they expect a girl to tip but I did when the host met me, $10/person

      2. what kind of pool experience are you looking for and did you mean free? i mean if you just want to chill there's always the pool at your hotel which would obviously be free. several of the hotels do allow non-guests but they generally charge a cover, especially to guys. For Bare at the Mirage they have female entry passes at the concierge and in the gift shop that would get you in free, and a couple of times i've just been handed these free passes walking through the casino. Not sure if other pools do this too

      3. sorry, can't help you on this one

        1) what's the one thing you absolutely would not miss when you're in Vegas?

        2) Weeklong stay -- what are the best pools to hit daytime (and maybe nurse that hangover). I think we'll figure out clubs later...though suggestions are welcome.

        3) I don't want to look like a typical vegas slut. I also don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on nice dresses. Any ladies out there have suggestions for good classy yet sexy clubwear?

        4) this probably belongs in another forum, but we haven't picked our hotel yet. I think we'll be okay with just a place to lay our heads and it seems like there are more than a few mid-range hotels on the strip that would be just fine. Any of them favorites for any of you?

        5) I know this may not be worth it to some folks, but I'm getting my first tattoo at club tattoo while we're there. There's an artist who has something very similar to what I'm looking for and I am probably overpaying, but I'm okay with it. So excited. Going to do it close to when we leave. Not sure there's a question in here, but tips/FYIs appreciated.

        Thanks!

        1. that time of year, the pool parties. definitely. and i'm a foodie so i always make sure to have one ridiculously good meal at a restaurant i haven't tried.

        2. if you mean a pool to just relax and chill at while nursing the hangover, i'd say stay at your own hotel's main pool for free and avoid the pool parties. If you mean you want to nurse the hangover with a little hair of the dog than pool party it is and i'm sure there's a ton of other threads on the site that'll help you figure out which one is for you.

        3. the sites you already listed are a good place to start for sure - i especially like ASOS. also try nasty gal (don't worry about the site name, lol), marciano, ardenb, and singer22.com

        4. i also REALLY like the imperial palace for a no-frills place to lay your head, i've stayed there twice with no complaints. like acgato5280 said, the rooms are nothing fancy but location wise its GREAT as you won't have far to walk to get to most places. there's good food options close by no matter how much you want to spend. and for some reason i always do REALLY good in their casino. oh yeah.... and there's the celebrity impersonators. love em

        5. i'm also highly inked, congrats on your upcoming new addition! my last ink is from King Ink in the Mirage this past May, yeah I overpaid considering how much i could've had it done for at home but its a good tat and it was more for the experience of getting tatted in Vegas, with my friend. definitely wait till the end of your trip though so it doesn't get exposed to sun if you're by the pool and so you're not in too much pain (as my friend was after hers) to continue going out
