I wonder what the "boom box" room is like. Gonna be headin there in a few weeks with a few electronic music fans and a few that definitely stay away from the beep boop music. Hopefully everyone can find something they like.

            marquee has 3 muisc options..

library more loungy upstairs and you can look over the dance floor.. one of the coolest decored rooms i have personally ever seen..

when the main room is house music, the boom box room is hip hop top 40

when the main room is hip hop top 40, the boom box room is house.

this is one of the coolest nightclubs in the world.. not to mention its in the absolute sickest hotels in the us, possibly the world..

that led screen behind the dj booth will amaze you..

see it for yourself, listen to know one else, because in the end, only your opinion matters...

i have seen that people who often complain usually had issues getting in ect.. dont let waiting a bit ruin your experience..

the club just opened, there will be kinks in the beginnnig with running the lines, and getting people in at a quicker rate..

            cheers

Is the Day Club Pool as ridiculous as everyone is making it out to be?

There is nothing on the cosmo site yet.

              3 story cabana's

              Private DJ booth

Spa on your own private rooftop

              Key card access

              Have you seen them yet?

The Day Club Pool is amazing. The 'cabanas' you talk about are really more of Bungalows I was talking about in earlier posts, they are treated like a hotel room, where you can actually stay 24 hours/day and access from either the pool or the hallway that connects them to the hotel proper.

The Bungalows are sick, there is six of them on one side of the pool, and cabanas on the other. The cabanas are much like Wet Republic's Bungalows all the way up top, except each has an individual square infinity pool.

There is a hot tub on the top floor of the Marquee Bungalows, but any of the rooms on the south/west side of the Cosmopolitan look right down into them, could be nice if you're a voyeur, or a partier who just doesn't care who sees their nude orgies in the pool.

Again, still no SOLID information on availability/price.

What a line-up. Amazing. Imagine if you just add Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto and Deadmau5 to this line-up.

Thanks for the input Donnie! I like how they cater to everyone. Pretty much that covers 100% of the crowd that goes to Vegas (hiphop top 40 vs house).

Planning on going Jan 29th (Sat) and buying tix in advance online ($40). Steve Angello will be there that night. So it sounds like it's super busy and some reviewers said that even at 9:00, the line up was still ~2h.

Will buying tix in advance save us any lineup time? What time you figure we should show?

P.S. Can you drink while waiting in line??

It's hard to say, Marquee's only been open less than 3 weeks and the reviews you read are not indicative of normal nights due to 1. grand opening 2. New years craziness

That said, Marquee will still have the new club business for a while, although I doubt what was seen during their opening. It'll probably be similar to other top clubs where you're gonna wait unless you go early or make arrangements with hosts.

Presale Tickets usually do NOT help much with avoiding lines unless the ticket specifically says so, even then I would contact the listed hosts (Larson, Justen, or the one Warren recommends Derrick Runtas in the host appreciation thread)

If you choose not to, then early is good. 9 pm will probably be good, but that's before they open, so you're going to wait at least 30 min or an hour when they open.
