We had an incident this weekend with a forum member fighting with a nightclub staffer and using the JackColton.com site for leverage during the altercation. Afterwards, I get a text from the General Manager of the club saying "an employee of JackColton.com" had "assaulted" one of their managers and claimed that "their career in Vegas nightlife was over."
Extremely unacceptable in every way possible. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows not to ever use this site within any circumstance like this.
We have the leverage we do because of years of hard work, heavy volume, and professionalism on all accounts; yet now I'm having to send apology cards to an entire management team at a major nightclub group because someone got drunk and used poor judgment.
Absolutely use what we have to build relationships with nightclub hosts and managers as to prevent issues from happening in advance -- that's what this site is for, but use your experience and better sense if issues ever come up. I don't care if a cocktail waitress pulls down her corset and full on shits in your drink in front of God and everyone drunk and Holy, there isn't any excuse for saying you work for the site, shoving a manager, and threatening their job as a representative of JackColton.com.
