+1 I love hip hop free clubs. However most clubs still do the house thing as a special event night, instead of all the time.

I highly recommend checking out Godskitchen at Vanity on Thursdays. Rain at Palms on Saturday. Depending of what time of the year, the pool scene has mostly house.

Sorry guys, the last two trips I did.. 95% of the members preferred and demanded house music. They were like this party is so blah with hip hop. All of sudden when the hard house kicked in, everyone knew the songs and it started popping.

Rain will be the only all house music club, and that is only for saturday night. Rain puts on Paul Oakenfolds perfecto, showcasing world class house DJs along with the famous fire show and extra acrobatics. Staff dress accordingly.

Other than that, all the house nights are during the week

This is the station I usually have my car on in Vegas. I live in Socal out of all places and we don't even have a station dedicated to house..

Were 95% of those members old and lacking in rhythm and dancing ability?
Also, I'm certainly no house expert, but isn't a lot of the house music played at clubs and parties just hip hop songs that have been "house" remixed? So how would they not know the songs beforehand?

Unless you're looking at a very specific demographic (guidettes, older women, girls who can't dance), I'd wager that hip hop is well ahead of house in terms of what "the ladies" like to dance/club to.

Yes, a lot of it is, and a lot of em are. But how you are on the floor doesn't always =... Sometimes, you'll get a surprise from what kinda cat you get out the bag.

Yes, but im looking for something different than the typical hip-hop chick. I always gotta make it a new experience. But also, those type clubs do have better ratio of women and hotter women. Unlike, the closed down poetry(which attracted the wrong hip-hop crowd. I partied in classy Hollywood club, so I know what it should be).

I don't know what you mean by "typical hip-hop chick", but I'm not talking about a girl who bumps nothing but eminem and jay z in her car. My contention was that among girls in college and a bit older as well, even if they're listening to Jack Johnson, Taylor Swift, Kings of Leon, or all sorts of emo crap on their personal time, when they're going out clubbing or partying a lot more would prefer a mix of hip hop/top 40 to house/techno.

Agree completely. I know some girls who prefer the mix of hip-hop/house/top40 and you would not expect it from them.

My bad. Typin like I talk again. But, I mean; I'm just looking for a different than what I can usually get type chick. Blondes, foreigners and Asians primarily. But, the majority of these types don't flock to the hip-hop in the numbers that I like to see. So, if you can't lure em, join em. I never like to limit the game.

Honestly, you'll find a very mixed group in any major club in Vegas. And some of those play hip hop too. But you have to think mainstream/top 40 hip-hop. Whatever gets the party moving, that's what you'll hear at the clubs, unless its specifically a house night at one of the venues.
