Palms Fantasy Tower $29 Deal - PALMS WILL ACCEPT RESERVATIONS

This is seriously the worst bait-and-switch move I've ever seen any Vegas hotel pull. I still think we have some room for maneuvering, though. There's a ton of ppl unaffiliated with this board who signed up for the same deal through a number of other discount sites. Palms will be taking a huge customer service hit if they don't honor the rates we all reserved at. All of us who reserved sending an irate, yet articulate, e-mail, might be a good first step.

They told me that they wont be cancelling the reservations but without the postcard the Friday and Saturday night rates wont be honored. Told me the Sunday thru Thursday rates would be. I'm not gonna cancel yet. Wanna try to get in contact with management first. They are gonna have to refund a ton of money and put a bad taste in alot of people's mouths if they dont bend on this.

Also; it's not in the T&C but there is one line that I think they may fuck us with: "Management reserves all rights". Presumably to fuck people with.

Does make you wonder. I'm sure they're going to make a shitload of cash from people who didn't find out the catch, then show up to a couple of hundred on top of what they were expecting to pay.

you know if they accept(and charge) your CC on booking you probably have a good hope to have VISA or Mastercard to go after them since you have abided by their t&c, they tend to frown upon this sort of practice. Might be a good way make the management feel awkward on check in.

"Ok well sir I will be filing dispute charges with my CC company, as you have breached the contract agreed on by the deposit on my CC. What was your name again?'

that line has worked for me a few times.

Thats an awesome line! I think most members rather not deal with the hassles and just book somewhere else, but its definitely worth a try.

It is espically worth while if you have an Amex. Those boys go to town for their customers in my experience.

Although I understand not wanting the hassle.
