Tao weekend passes from Vegasview.com

I'm heading to Tao on Thursday and was looking for some type of wristband thing like you can get at Palms. According to vegasview.com they sell something (I assume it's a wristband) for free entry (and hopefully bypass the line) into Tao & Lavo for three nights Thursday, Friday & Saturday for $50. They advise you to pick it up from the "door manager" on any of the aforementioned nights between 10pm and 2am.

So, theoretically, I can buy this "wristband" and go to Tao and/or Lavo for three nights for FIFTY BUCKS?!? I'm skeptical.
Any help/advice/opinion would be greatly appreciated...

never got wristbands from there but i did from vegas.com and those work.

I bought this wristband over New Years on BestOfVegas.com for about $25 and it did work. Picked it up from Tao from one of the the hosts outside. They will have a clipboard with your name on it. Make sure you bring your email confirmation. Me and one of my friends waited for about 15 minutes max and then bypassed a huge line at Tao on Saturday night. Walked in right away the next night at Lavo. Make sure you don't removed the wristband though.

So from what the customer service rep told me, these passes are good for admission throughout the weekend. Pickup at Tao, from the door manager Robert Conner, either Thurs, Fri, or Saturday night from 10pm to 2am.


Initially, I thought they were good for one day, but he confirmed that they are in fact, good for the entire weekend.

I'm going to be ordering a few of these later today. Good deal for $50.

Yup. Going to Tao Thursday night to kick off the weekend, and pick up the passes. Haven't been to LAVO. Probably going to hit up Tao Beach on Friday, or possibly Saturday if for whatever reason we don't end up at Wet Republic.

We're actually going back to Tao Saturday night, but we're gonna see about getting a table. Going to try and use one of the JC.com recommended hosts this time. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to share.

Its a party of 7 fellas, so I know not the most desirable group in Vegas. LOL

I just ordered their Male 3-1 Admin for $50 for Aug 26-29th. It said it is good for Tao and Tao Beach and Lavo. Hopefully it works, at least for Tao and TB. Hopefully the wristbands work!

used the tao wristbands off vegas.com and they worked perfectly for the weekend. was able to bounce around tao/lavo whenever we felt with no real hassle of lines. had time to kill before our flight, so made use of the wristbands and went to tao beach. i highly recommend the wristbands for groups of guys, well worth it since its only $30 (usual cover for 1 place)

from all whom have used them, plus what it says on vegas.com, you wait on the guestlist line only and not the GA line. so it should save some significant time...i hope!! lol

i've seen and read about both. but i'm erring on the safe side and the consensus seems to be that there may be a short wait in the guestlist line. probably dependant on who is in your group, what time you get there, etc. i honestly have no idea...this is just what i've found out in my search, since i'm using them for the first time in 2 weeks with a group of guys...

my TAO wristband experience

my experience with the TAO wristband was really good. i actually bought it for MDW a couple months ago. when you first pick it up, you go to a VERY short line in front of the entrance to TAO and ask for Robert Connor. you tell him you bought the TAO wristband and then he directs you to the cashier. the cashier has a list with everyone's names that have purchased the wristbands, and they put it on you right there (you keep the same wristband on the whole weekend). you then get the normal TAO stamp and enter the club. if you go back to TAO another night on your trip, you have to go in the guestlist line, you can't just walk into the club like you did to get your wristband. you need to get the TAO stamp again. just try to get the attention of the guys with the clipboards and let them know you have a wristband and they will usually help you get in quicker than others in the guestlist. again, your admission is comped. works the same at TAO Beach the whole weekend. you just get in the guestlist line and show them your wristband. over MDW it was so crowded that they stopped letting people in on Saturday. they said you would have to purchase at least a daybed running at $1,500 to get in and turned away hotel guests, people on the guestlist and people offering $100 cash just to get in. my girlfriend and i showed them our wristbands though, and got right in. you keep your TAO wristband on the whole weekend, but they give you a new TAO Beach wristband of the day each time you go so you wear both. hope this helps. let me know if you guys had any other questions about the wristbands and i'll try to help.

hahaha. i was staying at Venetian Thurs-Monday so TAO Beach was super convenient and free with the wristband (didn't wanna deal with a lot of the MDW hassle of getting in places). easy to go back up to the room any time we wanted. We went to TAO Beach for at least a little each day, TAO twice, and we also went to Drai's, Surrender and XS. Didn't make it south of Drai's the whole weekend haha.
