mlv, just to be clear $10-$20 is to just skip the waiting you would prob have to pay a cover on top of this and with 12 guys youre almost always gonna have to get a table or break into groups and pay the cover. but im a little confused; since you have so many hooks why are you greasing people to get into the clubs? with all due respect I think youre view is tainted because of the industry youre in, ive never put up more than $20 a guy to get past the line, but like I said thats would just get us past the line we would still have to pay a cover.

I think you have a good plan and shouldnt have too much trouble

Well new york i can respect this question but its like this.. if you where the door guy at a club in Vegas (any really) and the generally admission is $30.00 per person and every one had to wait in line to get it and we on a busy night we are talking about hundreds of people some times on special events thousands of people who got tables or wanting to skip the line and these clubs (management) like pure don't like people skipping the lines because the FBI got involved with the tipping issues but long story short they don't like it and the door guys can get fired from this.. !!! So i work with friends and there thought is if they can possible lose there job for this (getting you past the long lines) and general admission is $30.00 per person then you should tip at least $35.00 or on a busy night up to $100.00 for special events to skip the lines and it also weeds out the cheap clients as well.. its all about respect if a Friend is doing you a favor for you, show them respect back with a thank you tip.. so the bottom line is yes i get into every where for free and with out waiting (because i am a local) but people from other states have to say thank you for the help with a tip.. its not like you are not getting a great value for the buck.. !!! I mean you dont have to skip the line.. its an upgrade..

            Thanks Michael

it wasnt the FBI it was the IRS, and it certainly wasnt because of doormen getting tips, it was because of the publicity of paying celebrites hundreds of thousands of dollars to make appearances; notice after this happened and they hired a new PR firm you dont read about paris hilton getting 100K to party at lax or pure? everyone knows what is going on at these clubs with regard to greasing, the management doesnt want their employees doing it in the wide open...its kinda like thinking escort services are purely for companionship, thats naive! without straying too far from the reservation its my opinion that between $10-$20 a guy gets you past the line at a club in vegas without the doormen geeting pissed off and asking the next guy for $1000.

Wow. "but the point is i know more about vegas than you do..!!"

That's REALLY COOL. WHO'S THE WINNER? YOU'RE A WINNER, BUDDY.

I found that in Las Vegas, if you treat people with respect and not just as a dollar figure, you'll get treated like gold.

I'll give Pure as a good example. For most people, they hear about Pure and hear "Oh shit. It's a hype club. It's MASSIVE. WE GOTTA GO THERE". That's what many people say. My first time going there was not that great. One of the doormen (who still works there to this day) was such a nice person that even when I'm not doing a table at Pure (I haven't done a table at Pure since Sept. 2007), still hooks me up...at 11:45 pm on a Friday night.

Yes, on a busy night. Sometimes when I come back, I give a gift such as a cigar or some sort of token of appreciation. If you're gonna "grease" a doorman, make sure that when you go back (because you most likely will), remember that he remembers you.
