Depends if you guys want to party hard and be around the ladies. With 6 guys, I m assuming you are. Definitely get a location inside the club area next to the stripper poles. Outside of the club there is still a decent amount of traffic walking by, and you get a breath of fresh air.

Thanks, royale! I appreciate the quick response. I saw the layout, so I'm hoping that we could get into that inside room as well. Even though it's small, I think we'll like the traffic in there.

Trying to get a beach couch reserved for Sunday, August 29th. I emailed Dave Pappas yesterday but have not heard back as of yet. I guess I'm being impatient but should I call EBC directly to try and book?

Dave is solid...I'm sure he will get back to you. Be patient. I used him to set up our daybed for Aug 7th and sometimes there was a day between emails. He is probably working the near term stuff (i.e. this weekend). EBC is awesome...you'll like it!

Yeah, Dave is super helpful. I emailed him, and he called me directly, no more than two days later. He can send you pics of the layout, videos, etc. Definitely the most helpful and up front guy I've talked to.

yeah they have different names same as tao beach and tao. they both held at the same venue with some parts maybe closed off depending what hour of the day it is.

Yes, Surrender is basically EBC at night with the dance floor/club area open. Dip/Dance, AOKI Fridays..Local Wednesdays are all events at Surrender.

How similar are XS and Surrender? Would it be overkill to go to one on Friday and the other on Saturday? If not, which would you recommend for which night? If you could chose only one on Saturday, which would it be?

I'd do Surrender on Friday and XS on Saturday.

While the weather is still great check out Encore Beach Club at NIGHT every Thursday with Dip and Dance! The inside of Surrnender is closed but the pool is open and unlike some Vegas pool parties people are swimming and having a blast! This is a great night to get a steal on real estate ill get you set up (based on availibility) with a daybed or beach couch for $300 cocktail minimum this includes all cover charges too!

The best value in town for a legit 5 star 5 diamond world class party is Friday at Encore Beach Club! You can take advantage of amazing price points from Bungalows-500 sq ft climate controlled, private bathrooms, private jacuzzi, 60" plasma, multiple couches and daybeds and roped off private area for 20ppl for $1.5k and that includes food and beverage this same Bungalow starts at 5k on Sat/Sun! Cabana are the best in the world 220 sqft climate controlled, daybeds, couches, 60" plasma tv, private patio in front and terrace on lv blvd start at $750 on Friday and sell for 3k Sat/Sun.

Friday at EBC is doing 800 plus people that are all in dress code and not looking like a bad Jersey Shore episode! So I've been prowling these boards for the past few weeks, since I booked my trip to Vegas. I'm a complete noob, but my cousin is a local so he'll be preventing me from being "that guy".

The occasion is my birthday. Not a big one (27th) and that's mostly why I got the idea to come down (great excuse to make something inconsequential into something I'll hopefully never forget).

Staying at Encore and plan is to do EBC and XS on Friday afternoon/night (expecting massive hangover and heavy nap in between). Unfortunately a bunch of my friends bailed due to work/financial restrictions, but I've got a good core of 3 guys and 4 girls. Nevertheless we were hoping to meet some cool people while we were down there to party with. I was at WMC (miami) this year and that was very much the scene - everyone extremely friendly and I made a lot of lasting friends in addition to having crazier nights than we would have otherwise (but then there was the music to force people together). So, is it the same deal in this scenario or are people really reserved to their own parties? I guess what I'm saying is I want to get hammered with people I just met. Always a key to a great trip!

Also, Dave Pappas hooked us up for that friday (related to previous posts). 500 for the couches. I know Indian Dude got $300, and Dave did mention something available for that, but I think we're getting something a little larger (it's not a lilypad). Anyway, just keeping people updated on the pricing.

As for Manny Malhotra, the 'Nucks and the Linden jersey:
the first: plugger from the GTA, but yeah first Indian (well Indo-Canadian NHLer). Let's face it though...I'm better (but too lazy for training camps, etc.).

the second: the girls that are joining us are from the 'Couv. IMO Canuck fans are becoming the Leaf fans of the west. But we can argue that over a drink or eight.

the third: Linden 16 jersey (no, not the awful Hab version), is P.I.M.P. Maybe a Bure jersey tandem would work.
