  • Advice on Hotels

Just wondering if any hotels are having great deals to attract customers. We are coming down May 7 for 3 nights for a bachelor party. there will be between 10 and 12 guys and we probably need 4 or 5 rooms. Any links are appreciated.

I have ran so many queries on Vegas Hotels, I have every cookie of every hotel in my browser cache! One thing I found out, the hard way, is deals can change at any time, read the fine print. If you find one, grab it, it may not be there in a day or so. And i'm not sure if this is true for all Hotels, but compare what you find on PriceLine or Orbitz etc... to the actual Hotel website, sometimes you'll find out it's less from the source. And if you are a HIGH ROLLER, big baller .. Etc. Call the Casino and see if they will comp you're room, but be prepared to spend some serious $$$$.

I gave the wrong link earlier in this thread.

www.smatervegas.com is the only link you need for hotels. Stop all the queries. They cover everything from Expedia to offers direct from the hotel. It's all there.

you really dont have to spend alot of money to get a room comped. just get a players card, and they will start to send you lots of deals, to bring you back. Harrahs seems to be the best with comps, for low limit players. Paris, Ballys, Rio, Harrahs, and IP, charge me free-$20 a night. Ceasars is usually $70-$100 a night.

Right now Excalibur is offereing their modeled rooms for an incredible $27 per night.
Also some great rates for MGM Grand as well.

monte carlo always has great deals and is perfectly situated on the strip, you can walk to the tram to get to mandalay, luxor and you can take a cab up the strip via sinatra which runs behind the hotels and parallel to the strip....quick and cheap, I think you can grab a room there for about 50 bucks its a steal, its a pretty nice place.

Thanks for the responses. I think we are going to stay at TheHotel at Mandalay Bay. Buddy got a decent rate from a host in Vegas. He got 3 suites for $130 per night. Looking forward to it as i have never been there.

The only down side with Thehotel is that it is at the end/beginning of the strip.

If you're looking for a place that's cheap and provides the basics: bed, shower and a place to put your shit - Hooters is great. Cheap rooms, decent beds. It's nothing fancy, but it does when you're just looking for a place to crash. The bathrooms are near standard of a Holiday Inn, but for $30.00 a night you can't complain.

If you don't mind staying off the strip The Plaza on Freemont also has cheap rooms which serve pretty much the same purpose as Hooters, except without the convenience of the strip. Friendly staff and the rooms are standard.

I usually base my preference on bed quality - it is important for me and my drunken relaxation. I love the beds at MGM and Hard Rock. The Hard Rock has really large rooms and AMAZING mattresses. They provide huge dow comforters and blankets in the winter. The bathrooms are pretty large and great modern feel. Flat screens and great view of the pool.

MGM has awesome beds and a large bathroom. Great bar at the bottom of the elevators. Look to spend from in lower triple digits per night.

I'm staying at the MGM this time around, booked directly online. Get some free passes to Studio 54, $50.00 in resort credit and a free meal or something like that.
