yeah they flew in for the night. His wife is a flight attendant and he works baggage claim for continental part time just for the flight benefits so its real easy for them to just pop in and out. I actually was given their travel companion benefits for the whole year of 2010 so i can bascially fly free for 2010, i just pay taxes. So thats why i am hoping to head out for superbowl weekend but it just all depends on if the flights are super booked or not bc its all standby. I can see alot of vegas trips in 2010 happening!

you can always transfer. Ive flown standby alot. Just flew to vegas this past LDW. Just pick a dead city between yours and vegas, and hop on a plane there than transfer to your city.

Congrats on your trip and your bd.

Love the suit, gotta look ballin!
Ups on the "late night drinks in her room" part. I'm sure they were good.

(Sorry to rob this thread but: How does this employees fly free thing work? I may want to start a new thread. I would be willing to get a pt job to be able to go to vegas more often (and other places). Can someone please fill me in? Do you have to work there a year? Do most airlines offer this? What are the restrictions? THanks for the input.)

          You coming in May?
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Las Vegas was good. Hell of a ship, hell of a crew.

hessjak, sorry to change subjects. I found it. I think I'm getting another job.

From AK airlines: The company’s generous travel program is an exciting part of the job. Employees and their eligible dependents are offered an unlimited amount of free, space available travel on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Employee travel privileges include discounts on other airlines as well.

alot of airlines offer it and the benefits typically start right away....pay stinks but benefits are great just inquire with any of the airlines at the nearest airport,I think you have to have a clean history through a background check and stuff cause of the looney terrorists
it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the boss

Nice read. It's very easy to get addicted to this town and I'm sure you've got a lot more trips coming up in the future. Had a great time partying with you at XS. Your crew was alot of fun. Hope to see you out there again.

I have looked into this but their hubs are in houston and cleveland so no matter where i fly through i have to go through either of those. The flights look pretty open right now but that can change in 2 weeks. Keepin my fingers crossed!

El Paso is usually good for me. Ill put myself on the list for the first flight to vegas, and if I dont get on, Ill ask about flights to El Paso, or other dead cities in between. There usually pretty good about getting you where you want to go, if you ask the right questions. I think your allowed 3 transfers. It may be a long day, so you if to decide if its worth it.

Come home from Vegas on LDW weekend, I flew to LA, then El Paso, then Dallas, and finally Houston.
