Saturday Jan 9th
Headed to the airport in GRR about 11 our flight took off at 1 through delta/northwest whatever they want to be called now a days. Connected through mineapolis with the no issues. Landed in LV about 45 mins early. Grabbed a cab and headed to the mirage. Man was LV blvd packed that night. With CES and the porn convention in town things were pretty packed. Was meeting my aunt, cousin, and cousins wife at the hotel. They were already there and checked in, got checked in and scored a 23rd floor strip view room. So glad we stayed at the mirage. Such a great location for everything I wanted to do in LV. Headed to dinner at Cabo Wabo and thoroughly enjoyed my diet coke as everyone else got tanked on margaritas. I still wasnt 21 until midnight that night. Headed back to the mirage about 10 and took a power nap till around 11 30. I knew this was gonna have to be a low key night as everyone was exhausted so we went to bbkings in the mirage for some shots and eveyrone headed to bed around 2 but i proceded to get wasted until about 5 and gamble at the venetian loosing a quick 700 on the slots. Went to bed for a bit around 5 30
Saturday Jan 10
My birthday finally! Woke up around 8 30 ready to get the day started! Headed down to the casino floor to start gabling and drinking. Started the day out with some mimosa's. Everyone else was about around 11 and we started walking the strip and checkin out the casinos. My 2 best freinds were flying in from houston around 2 so when they got checked in I split from the fam and met up with them. Walked down the the wynn and played a bit there. Hit for 650 on the Wizard of oz slot so i was pumped at that point. Time to get wasted! Headed to TI to watch the packers game as my friend had bet on it. Posted at Kahunaville to watch the game. Met some people from new zeeland that found it was necessary for me to take 7 shots of segrams 7 on my 21st birthday. Got so drunk and decided i needed a nice nap before the big night out. Headed back to the Mirage to head to bed. Got up and started to get ready. Pulled out the new Canali suit (thanks mom and dad) to be lookin fly for the night. Everyone met up around 7 for dinner at BLT burger which was really good. Dad supprised me with a limo for a ride down the strip and then to drop us of at the encore for our BS at XS. The limo ride was fun and we pulled into the encore around 11. Got ahold of our host Ryan Perrings( great guy, thanks agian Dnix!) and he unfortuanatly wasnt at the property but walked me through getting in on the phone. Headed into the table service line and basically walked right in to our table. Had a table the second row up from the dance floor. Was real happy with the location. Was introduced to our server paula who was great! Ordered our 2 bottles of goose and some red bull and other mixers and the night was started! Ended up meeting Max from Dancing with the stars at XS that night which was pretty cool. XS was pretty dead to start with and got pretty busy around 12 30. Got to meet up with JC member DJRAN and his friend and do some shots! Thanks again Randy. Invited them over to the table and ordered another bottle. The night got pretty crazy and i got way way way to wasted (I guess thats what is supposed to happen on your 21st right) Left XS about 3 and headed to bed.
Monday Jan 11
Everyone was super hungover. I wasnt to bad got up around 9 and headed down to gamble. Had a couple red bull and vodkas and any form of a hangover was gone. Everyone else was in slow motion that whole day. I dont think anyone else in the group had anything to drink other than water and diet coke. My friends from Houston were flying out around noon so said my goodbyes to them and we checked out some of the smaller casinos today, my favorite being casino royale with the dollar michelobs. Can't beat that! Went to voodoo lounge for some drinks monday night and check out the view. Then checked out the palms. The rest of the fam except me mom and dad were headed home in the morning so we called it an early night and we headed to bed around 1.
Tuesday Jan 12
Got up at 7 30 to say the goodbyes to the family as their flight was leaving at 10. So me mom and dad were left for the day. We saved today to do the things we wanted to do that we thought other people with us might not have wanted to. We spent the day just hittin up the casinos and drinkin. Went to Aria and was not overly impressed. It it just huge. No character. Felt like an airport. Went up the the room and got ready for dinner. Had reservations at top of the world at the stratosphere. I was a little worried as i know the stratosphere is getting old and is getting run down. The restaurant was awesome though. The steak was great the the sides were awesome! The view was absolutely awesome. We got done with dinner around 8 and had tickets to the 9 30 show of Le Reve. Had great seats and really enjoyed the show! Got done at the Wynn around 11 and mom and dad were vegas'd out so they headed to bed and I went to the venetian to play some more. Sat down at the new wizard of oz and just had that winning feeling. Played a couple spins and then hit for 1000 bucks! Wooohoo! I was pumped then so i decided to drink drink drink. Had some great AMF's and started talkin up some chick at some bar in the venetian. Ended up back in her room for some "late night drinks" and headed back to my room about 7.
Weds Jan 13th
Got up around 8 knowing it was almost time to head home. Went down for some mimosa's and had 3 comped buffets from points i had built up gambling at the mirage. The buffet was pretty good actually. Went back across the street to the ventian to try my luck on the Wizard of Oz again and didnt have any luck so around noon we headed to the airport for our flight out at 2 30. Got back into GRR at 11 30 exhausted and ready for some sleep. Im glad i skipped my first week of classes to live it up in Vegas.
Thanks again to everyone who helped me on here. Couldnt have done it with out this website! Can not wait to go back and go to some of the other clubs!
