Stayed here in 2003, glad to hear rooms have been updated since, they really needed it. I've heard stories about ppl wasting $ on the sandwich trick to only get stuck in a rm that has not been updated....so caution. I loved the pool when there. If your not going to spend $ on a cabana I recommend getting to the pool about 1/2 hr prior to opening to get a good spot, otherwise your along way away from the pool. The famous pool parties (like wet republic) weren't around then so this may not be an issue anymore.

thank goodness for that the only reason why i mention their music is it was surprisingly urban - like *real* rap, not pop or any of that crap. shocking, considering their go-go dancer chicks are wearing the Union Jack , lol

I stayed there 2 yrs ago. Good hotel, long fucking walk through the casino though. lots of hookers late night... definitely worth the price and a great pool.

stayed at the mirage once , double door penthouse suite 7th floor during a big fight weekend back when de la hoya was worth a shit. great times, but now I would possibly think a little dated? maybe bellagio or caesars instead, same great location, comparable prices, nicer? hmmmm its vegas.

@irock: the rooms are definitely not dated, they started to fresh them up when I was there 2 yrs ago and have continued with that. the rest of the place did not feel to shabby or dated neither.

That's how I get deals there... and through my players club. I would say they are hit or miss there. But it's my fav place to stay... so I pay more to stay there.
