My gf and I have been to vegas a few times already, and we don't have much trouble getting into clubs. We go a little early, or get a hand stamp from an event happening earlier at the club or we just stand in line and get in the straight forward way.
We are going again in mid december, but this time we are going with a group of people who, at best, can generously be described as... nerds. When I've attempted to talk to them about dress codes and such, their eyes glaze over and they respond with a reflexive nodding that is surely meant to placate me by suggesting some amount of comprehension on their part. But since I know they haven't made any clothing purchases since our talk, my concern only grows.
They do want to go, and I want them to go. But I'm justifiably worried that they won't get in. Even moreso because I usually go to the more high profile places. I don't want to walk in and leave them outside but I don't want to wait out there with them either. Worse yet, our group ratio is all wrong. It'll be something like 5:3 men to women.
The obvious answer is of course to get bottle service. And I would be perfectly willing to go this route but there's no way they would all be willing to spend that much. Probably none of them are.
After some research I'm down to the following potential options.
1) vegas.com front of line passes
2) "host" service sites that offer to walk you in for some fee south of bottle service but north of cover charge.
3) bribing the right people.
I'd really appreciate some advice on how viable these are. If any of these options are viable, could I get some pointers, since I haven't really used any of them?
Perhaps none of them are viable and I'm out of luck?
