Pet advice

I have a question, especially for the ladies. I'm planning on getting a dog or a cat once I get a new place (most likely a cat). My question is this: can a single guy own a female pet without it reflecting negatively on his masculinity? What sayeth JC?

1) You should get a dog if you're single. Dog's are a lil more masculine (plus I'm biased cuz I don't like cats, they're evil)

2) I personally don't see that the sex of the pet matters. A male would come off more masculine, and a female would come off as sweet because you're proving you can care for a female.

what's wrong with a guy having a female pet? it's does not affect your masculinity in any way shape or form.

having said that, i am partial to male pets, for some reason.

sorry, my post was a bit ambiguous.. I was referring to the perception of cats vs. dogs.

well, i still i like guys with cats you don't need to own a rottweiler with spikes on its collar to look manly.

I don't think I would think anything about it. You have a pet....ok. Girl or boy doesn't matter with me.

But for the record in case we are keeping score...I like dogs.
