Yup, It is crawling especially this week. Thursday can't get here soon enough. I call it the Vegas Hourglass effect, the sand always drains at the same rate but when you're watching it it seems like it turns to concrete.

The best restaurant to go to is Nove Italiano for sure. It is expensive but totally worth it. They have the best chicken parm and aged steaks. If you have never been there you have to check it out what a place. http://www.n9negroup.com/#/nove/main/

Just in time for the Invasion, Restaurant.com has their special again [off of slickdeals.net]:
Restaurant.com 80% off: $25 Gift Certificates $2 or $3, $10 Gift Certificates $0.80
Save 80% with code ENJOY
www.restaurant.com
The $25 gift certificates are normally $10 or $15 (depending on restaurant), but are $2 or $3 with the code.
They also sell $10 certificates for select restaurants for $4, making them 80 cents each with the code.

You need to read the limitations on the gift cards. For instance, I think you can only use one gift card at a time per location. Some you have to spend a minimum amount of money etc.Originally posted by areacode201 View PostSo let me get this straight...
I can buy $100 gift cards on restaurant.com for $40 (assuming no extra discount) and take my friends out for a $300 meal at a place that accepts the cards and only pay $120 plus tax/tip???
my mind = blown
Still a great deal, especially with the extra discount code! Just read the fine print so you are aware.

The high end places (i.e. Stripsteak at Mandalay) will only let you use one of these gift cards at a time. If you go with four couples and sit in a group of 8, they will only let you use one certificate for the WHOLE table. So, if you want to use more than one certificate then you should split up and sit in different spots. (This could be different for different restaurants, obviously). In addition, always make sure you let the server know first thing that you are using the certificate. I have heard of some places not accepting the discount if you don't tell them you are using it until after you already ate and the bill arrives.
