Wedding ring that is. Heading to Vegas in a month and it looks like there is a real chance it will be solo. Wear or don't wear the ring while in LV?

i would say whether you wear it or not depends on your intentions...if you are looking to hook up, no don't wear it, if you are just there to have fun and talk to women, then wear it.

My "intentions" are not to hook up, but I want to have a great time even if I am solo. My thoughts are that if I have the ring on, it may be harder to strike up conversations and/or meet others that I may be able to hang with as far as nightlife goes.

yeah on a serious note... if your looking to just meet up with some women or men really and socialize and meet people. The wedding ring might help out especially with other married men/women, who will know that your intentions are just to hang out, etc.

If your not gonna wear it, you need to take it off a couple days prior. The indention and the tan line can be a dead give away.

That is the silliest thing I have ever read.

A lot of women have guy friends that are married... and have no problem talking to them. Reverse the role--you would never speak to a married woman, if your intensions are just to strike up conversation? Does she have to be single to have a conversation with?

I think you are looking for more than a conversation...

But hey, it's Vegas, and I am no angel... but at least say what you really want. No point of masking it.

I think you are getting a little ahead of yourself basically calling me a liar Tango. It is a legit question I have. In the past I have gone to LV with friends and solo. When I have gone solo, I spent alot of time at the pool, sportsbook and hotel bars, but not much at clubs. In every instance I had a good time, but never really struck up conversations with people that led to hanging out with them, so if you think my intentions are different than what I have stated, you are wrong. Just a question I have since I really was looking forward to having a killer time on this trip and am really bummed my best friend is backing out at the last minute.

okay.. first of all... if you value your marriage (which sounds of it, you do), then why would you take off your ring? would you be alright with your wife removing hers, to "chat" with people?

i'm not saying what is bad, or what is good.. but what i am saying is that to have casual friendly conversation, having a ring on your finger does not make any difference. the only difference it makes is where the conversation goes.

what you are asking, is if you should hide the fact that you are married or not... i don't know, you tell me what your intensions are.
