Jockey Club?!? Was that booked for you (you mentioned something about a convention)? Seems like a, uh... "interesting" place to stay.

Yes, was booked for me. It was either that or Green Valley! Can't say either thrilled me. Going to make the most of it though!

Ah, well, at least you're on the Strip, right in the middle too. Could be a good stay, who knows?

Oh yes, we are going to make it a good stay for sure! Middle of strip is why we got booked there. Would have liked other but didn't have much of a choice or know better at the time. Need to spend some time here to get advice on how to make it a great trip. I've already seen about getting tix ahead of time.

Will be with a larger group of very fun people. Challenge will be to find other new people that are as fun to add to it!

What would have been recommendation on where to stay instead. For future reference.

Palms are really nice! It's off the strip but they've got a lot going on for them, that's where I'll hopefully be staying next time!!! But where you stay inda depends on your budget too, I'm staying at Bally's this time around because it cheap and right dead in the center! I've also heard some pretty decent reviews

Well the price didn't hurt. 2 room suite for 7 nights, out the door with all taxes at just under $1,000. Sounded decent, especially with splitting and being on the strip.

Will be out in Vegas the same weekend, this will be my friends and I second trip to Vegas. Should be a great trip.

Its 4.2 miles south of the strip. No way my first trip to Vegas expects me to stay there! LOL! I'm staying at the MGM signature.

Sounds like the same approach we are taking... our conf is a few miles outside of town as well... but sure didn't want to miss out on being in Vegas. Still trying to figure out our schedule.

I believe mine is 8-5 everyday...I sure hope I can make it to every class...
